Jones, coach class, "The Olsen Twins", those who don't understand that a turn signal is an instrument for indicating what you are GOING to do in the near future rather than what you are presently doing, spandex, the little devil child on the Welch's juice commercials, people with too many dislikes.I believe being a nice person comes first, everything else second. I’m a sucker for a pretty face, but its nothing without a great personality. I turned to match originally because I was SO sick of meeting cute women who then turned out to be boring or dim. You can tell by the endless checklists that I've spent hours completing, I am looking for the perfect woman. Unfortunately, it seems that I don't know what, exactly, that entails. I moved to the Bay Area 3 years ago, for two reasons: first, after having been out of the country for 2.5 years, I wanted to be closer to my family and friends (I have 4 siblings and a pile of the cutest nephews and nieces you'll ever meet!). Second, I really wanted to put my energy and work-effort to use where my passions lie, to do something meaningful and rewarding.
I bought a subscriber series to the SF Opera each of the past 2 years. I fell in love the elegance and passion, but I was most surprised by the timeless themes, and the humor. And it balances out the fact that I love college sports.
I love markets, everything from the familiarity of Berkeley Bowl (always so bountiful!) to the quirkiness of the Farmer's Market. But my favorite is experiencing the vibrant aromas, colors, sounds and energy of a bustling market somewhere in the developing world: the mystery of the strange, unknown items; bargaining (always with a smile!) over the price of the full, ripe mangoes that will be tomorrow's breakfast; grabbing a simple, delicious meal made fresh in the 'local' style.
I have flaws. Maybe not as many as most other guys, but still enough to make me interesting/human.
I really appreciate cold, rainy, winter weekends. Perfect for building a nice big fire in the fireplace and staying lazy & cozy.

I spent the Friday of the MLK holiday weekend at the Yoga Journal conference. Then camping in Big Basin to celebrate a friend's birthday, slipping out of our campsite before breakfast on Sunday a.m. to go for a run through the redwoods. I've been doing a lot of climbing at the gym in recent weeks, even though I'm not very good at it and heights kind of scare me.
