I recently moved to Orange County, California from Oahu, Hawaii where I spent the past two years working as an emergency physician. Now I'm back in Orange County where I'm training in anesthesia. I feel very fortunate to have a great profession that I enjoy and that allows me to help people.
I'm grateful to have amazing friends and the financial ability and freedom to enjoy life. Although I've been content being single and focusing my energies on my career, I'd love to meet someone really special to share my time with. I'm very fun and relaxed and love life. I enjoy being physically active and some of my favorite activities include surfing, yoga, swimming, sailing and hiking. I also love traveling, good dining, wine and movies as well as reading and just spending time with friends and family. Date someone special from California, United States. I love to travel halfway across the country to simply watch a band play at a favorite venue. At any given time, I will have tickets and/or plans for live performance ... a festival, concert, play, musical, recital ... something. I have no idea what television show is cool or what was the name of that actor or actress. I'm not against television ... I just always find something else to do.
I understand the description "intensely laid back" ... I think that would apply to me. With my boys or work, I am totally responsible and very much enjoy my responsibility. With my friends or life, I am totally playful and enjoy those times to be carefree and fun. I try to do all of these things with some grace and humor ... I try to live the expression "All is Well" - no matter what the situation or challenge.
I worked hard at getting to a point of balance and security in my life. I'm a good person, with a good job, a good sense of humor, and a generally laid back disposition ... I'm looking for someone similar, similarly situated, with similar interests, and a strong desire to do things and seek out things to do.

As for languages, I probably speak and understand more Spanish than French at this juncture. Having said that, I think my level on either is marginal; yet sometimes I can surprise the fluent speaker! Please know how to cook, or have a willingness to try it. I am not Joe-cook, but can do it and like to at times. I guess I am saying I am not into princesses. I like to be pampered, who doesn't? I can do the same for you. Maybe I have a tainted bias. Oh yeah, I have only one confession: I'm older than the profile says because 1) In real life most all think I'm far younger than I am; and 2) I hate being eliminated without being considered.
