Date a soulmate from Berkeley, United States. I’m a once-lapsed academic now back in the books after a very extended detour through two careers and three continents. I’m most interested in ideas, big and small; I like getting sidetracked in history, geography, bad movie trivia, biology, the best cover stories of the Weekly World News (the world’s only reliable news if you didn’t know), etc.
I’m a fan of The New Republic and Frontline, Ricky Gervais and Karl Pilkington, the Lumiere and Clay theaters, Dance Theater Workshop, and Little Britain’s Lou and Andy.
Many of my favorite places are away from the city. If I could I’d be in Healdsburg, or Lake Tahoe, or Point Reyes every other weekend.
I’ve lived in NYC, Brazil, and London and have seen a decent bit of the world, but have a long list of places left to explore.
Meet single man from Berkeley, United States. Just moved up here from Los Angeles. I work at a Golf Course and do Real Estate at the same time.
Since I do work at a golf course that should tell you that I love playing golf and do so as often as I can. I fly down to the LA area every other weekennd to spend my time with my son (7 years old) and when I'm with him I am just a big kid.
Now that I made my golf career move up here I need to explore my new surroundings so I would like to meet someone to help me do the exploring. When it comes to a woman. If she is worth it I make the time (I would be stupid not to) so as busy as I can be, good company can't be beat. And so you know, I am an open book. If you wanna know something just ask.

Date a soulmate from United States. I was born in Zimbabwe, grew up in South Africa, have a great job in San Francisco flying jets to and from Hong Kong mostly, occasionally I fly to other exotic destinations, mostly passengers, sometimes boxes (just a few). I have traveled extensively and always will. I go to Africa every year to visit my folks and sisters who are very special to me. I have two gorgeous daughters and they are my world.
I am very much an outdoor person and I have tried my hand at many different things. I grew up surfing, mostly in South Africa and then traveling to various hot surfing destinations around the world. I spent about 10 years focused on triathlons and Ironman. Now, I ride my mountain bike, paddle my SUP Paddle Board, surf and run. I learnt to fly when I was 20 in Zimbabwe. I spent a couple years flying in the bush there and then went job hunting. It was full on for a long time, flying the entire African continent and a few places like Pakistan and Afghanistan. I eventually retired from flying in war torn countries to the cruisy life of a long haul pilot. It has been an awesome ride and continues to be.
Who am I looking for...mmm I want someone who can be themself and be confident with that. Someone who is open and honest. Someone with ambition and a drive to go out and get it. Someone who can laugh their socks off! Someone who loves traveling, there is lots with me. Likes and appreciates good food, good wine, good chocolate. Integrity! Passion! I am looking for that person.
Meet single man from United States.
I’m a teacher and an artist living in Oakland. I’m not a native of these parts. I was raised in Arizona, so I’m a bit of a mountain boy. Don’t get me wrong. I moved here, in part, for the culture the bay has to offer. I like to spend my time working in my studio (ceramic art), cooking, hiking, exploring the city for good food, and spending time with friends. I also have family that lives in the bay and I’m close to them. I take good care of myself. I love my job as a teacher in Oakland. What other job can you play kickball in the middle of your day? Last year, I bought my first home and have been fixing it up ever since. Now, I’m just looking for someone to appreciate it with me.
I’m looking for someone who is educated, outgoing, but can enjoy the simple things…like a good meal and a movie at home. She should like hiking and/or other outdoor activities, but enjoy social and cultural events. Someone who can hold her own in a conversation, but does not feel the need to be the center of attention. She should be active in staying healthy, both physically and mentally. I enjoy a girl who is confident in herself and is empathetic to others. And she will hopefully enjoy my silly sense of humor.
She does not have to be “the fairest of them all”, but she does need to be fair. I look forward to meeting you.
