As to more specifics about me, I tend to be a mix between ultra nerd and super stud ;-) (and modest too obviously...lol) I used to be a scientist professionally, and now am a business guy. This means I like to have thoughtful conversations on occasion with someone who is capable of holding up their end, but will also go and play with me, be it travel, beach, mountains or whatever.
I also have some fun activities such as motorcycles, sky diving, hiking and snow boarding, cannot live without working out (running, gym), and usually try to read at least one book a month. I do not watch a lot of TV, but use DVR to catch the shows friends watch, and like seeing current movies. I have flown to Vegas just to catch a show (gambling and partying like a rock star is fun every once in a while too), and like to hit Manhattan for new plays.
It's important to me to have good communication. That means more than talking about it. I feel the intention with which I take action and how I go about doing things means just as much as the act itself. It's easy to go through life being perceived as doing it all right, or doing the right things. This tends to translate into having the capacity to be honest, even when it's difficult, but still maintain a tactful manner. Living and being true to who I am is very central to me.

Meet a man from California, United States. Having traveled considerably and being able to speak in several languages, I know that a genuine smile can break down language and culture barriers, and LA has plenty of opportunities to prove that!
In any case, let me tell you something that you probably already know, but I’m just discovering: this city is GREAT! With a little bit of planning and some free time, you can find artistic, athletic, eating and outdoors activities somewhere in the area. I’m having fun exploring LA finding venues to experience what this city has to offer, but it would be more fun to do it with interesting, intelligent and non-superficial people (yes, I’ve already checked the meetup scene and there are some good groups there as well as “interesting” people).
Yes, I’m kind, smart, athletic and funny. So what makes me different? Well, for starters, I’m confident without being overbearing; I do actually enjoy art and can hold my own talking about a piece of art (and if I think is gibberish, you’ll know). I’m not afraid to go into stores, super markets, neighborhoods that don’t speak any of the languages I know and enjoy the food they cook as rare as it might look; I enjoy the outdoors, no, wait, I LOVE the outdoors and love dogs too (got two at home) and they make me happy. Music inspires me to dance, laugh, cry, and to relax; being with someone that makes me happy inspires me to cook.
I’m trying to constantly learn from the people I come across and from my surroundings, so I believe in applying that learning and evolving; I’m aware (and look forward to that time) when I get to evolve even more due to your influence on me, just like I know I will have that effect on you.
