Date someone special from La Mirada, United States. I'm outgoing and very ambitious. I've worked in retail for the past almost 9 years (and I've gotten a raise every year -- I figure this will tell you something about my work ethic and my personality). I'm always looking to improve myself. I have an AA Degree in Business. I'd go for a B.A. Degree if I had the money to do so -- if only to have the degree. But don't think just because I don't have a B.A. that I'm not intelligent or outgoing. In addition to having a day job in retail, I'm a published author of four books -- everything from a how to book on computers, to an inspirational children's book, to self help books. People like the fact that I actually write the books from a first person perspective. The computer book that I wrote in 2004 is still selling in 2010. Want more proof I'm smart, intelligent, and outgoing? Okay, I'm working on being a better artist. I love having a talent that others might lack. It's difficult to do, but I think it will help me in the long run -- it will give me something to do when I'm older and semi-retired. I'm also a songwriter. I haven't sold any songs yet, but I believe what matters most is not how much money a person makes, but the fact that you keep trying to succeed. I'm also looking for a job I can do online from home.
I'm a very upbeat person who always looks for the positives in life. I try not to dwell too much on the negative. Life is too short and a balance is always good. I am the type of person that thinks of other people first, but I never forget to take some time to concentrate on myself. My friends describe me as sweet and very intelligent. I believe that me and my significant other should treat each other as equals. One of the best qualities I think I have is that I care about people.

I'm an honest person and I am looking for someone who is the same. My job and living situation are not all that I am. I am more than my resume. I do live at home and one of the reasons for that is to help out after the death of my father in 2009.

I'm looking for someone who is kind and intelligent. Someone with a good sense of humor is a must. If I said that looks didn't matter to me at all, I would be lying. Looks do factor in, but they are not everything. I don't really care how much money the person makes as long as they are ambitious and outgoing. I want someone who knows how to keep up their end of the conversation. She should be someone who is not overly dramatic.

Currently using my logic so much in my life, it's not even funny (ok, maybe a little funny). It's great for my technical career, but I have been known to let creativity slip in at times. Humor definitely doesn't hurt either and helps in many situations in and out of work.
I'm very goal-oriented and have learned that flexibility is key to achieving those goals because, you know, life happens. I'm proud of what I have accomplished in my life, but I know there is so much more still to do.

Date single man from La Mirada, United States. Hello, i've checked out this site every so often and decided to actually activate my account and give this a chance. I guess here is where I chat a little about me. Well, from my friends perspectives they would say I'm a nice patient guy, talented, responsible, reliable, active and entertaining in the kitchen ( we can talk more on that later). My daughters think I'm a pretty cool dad and are always introducing me to their friends. I work hard and I love to unwind outdoors. A day at the beach ending with a bonfire, off roading and camping out under the stars. On the side, I'm working on putting together a little cooking show starring my oldest daughter and the gimmick is, she's always wearing footsie pajamas. I dunno, she just looks really cute... So any helpful show names or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Also my friends and family are very important to me and we tend to have large gatherings full of fun laughter and good food. I have three wonderful daughters and they like to gang up and play practical jokes on me. Stories on that to be told at a later date.
I enjoy going out to watch and perform live music. I enjoy movies, dinners, comedy clubs etc... as well as staying home getting cozy on the couch. I frequent the gym and live a healthy life style. I've recently started indoor rock climbing and love it.
Who im looking for? A woman that isn't in it for the game. Well, maybe a little, but she really wants to start working on the foundation for a long lasting relationship. Hopefully she can cook. Meet a man from La Mirada, United States. Ok, let me try this....again. I have been here before, but took a few months away. I figured this would be a good start for me again, to meet someone new and adventurous. I am at the point in my life where I would like to meet a sweet, pretty, and all around good woman to spend my life with. I enjoy traveling, and experiencing new places. I want to travel to new places at least 2 times a year for the next 30-40 years, but I want a partner:) to join me. I enjoy my job, and I work hard. On my time off, I spend as much time with my family and friends. I dont go out to clubs like I did in my 20's, but I do enjoy nice lounges, and restaraunts. I very much enjoy live music.
