I am very active. I crave adventure. I like to challenge my body physically. I don't think a person truely understands their potential until they have pushed to their limits. In the last two years I have day hiked/climbed three 14000 foot mountains in California. This August will be my fourth. I Started road biking this year and my first race is coming up. I don't run as much as I used to, but I still enjoy a mud run here and there.
I also love to hunt. This seems to lack the general approval of a lot of people, which is totally fine with me. It should also be said that I have no intentions of quitting.
My friend's wife read my profile and told me that it was to much like an action adventure figure. She said," There is more to you than this, you should state some, (real life stuff)".
Ok...... here goes.
I am a great friend. I have bent over backwards to help others in need. I can build / fix just about anything and, when given the choice, I will always take the stairs over the escalator.
I Love cooking, good wine, and my 1000 count sheets.....pretty much in that order. I am a great dancer, I love shopping, and I even do windows, laundry.....and everyother household chore you can imagine being that I live alone, Well not counting my dog, Who is pretty good company.
I love kids, I hope to have a family in the future. Right now I'll settle for hanging out with my godson.
I love to teach others. Last summer I helped five kids and two adults up on the wakeboard for their first time. The ear to ear smiles are priceless.
I do not expect my life to always be the way it is currently. I understand the value of family and the commitment it takes to be in a healthly relationship. As my life changes, so will I.

Meet someone special from Hollister, United States. Doing an "about me" is a little odd as I am not used to describing myself :) but here goes...
I am looking for a special someone that I can come home from work to. I am looking for someone that cares, down to earth, practical, smart, funny, and can help me out when i need it most...but who i can help when she needs it most...its a team effort, not one or the other...i want someone who will be there...who likes to have fun, cares about herself, and works together to build our bond. I have found that alot of times people give up too easily over little stresses and missing the bigger picture entirely. Having someone that knows that and is able to work through challenges is key. Life throws curveballs..
All the normal things are fun to do...going outside, enjoying the weather, traveling.....
Who I date is important. One night stands are not for me. I want to be friends with who I meet and know that person on a deep level. I want someone to love, cherish, and go do fun, spontaneous things together...wake up together..and see her with no makeup. ;) The person I am looking for doesnt have to be a a glamor model but should generally look fit and keep herself up. A good positive image of herself is important for overall health.
For work, I am a network engineer. I own my house.. Bought a classic vette last year and enjoying taking it out for rides, own a pair of horses that I like to go work with and take to the beach.. Have a great 19yr old son....am 41....act like I am 25 though..maybe younger. ;)
I am from Louisiana originally...lived in Mississippi and Texas as well...family all over those areas....I dont think I have any kind of accent..pretty sure I dont..people back there tell me I dont...
I am real down to earth...My routine right now is work and visit Starbucks...go to church on Sundays, go to my horses, take care of my son, and just enjoy life. Dont really do the bar scene..will do dinners and comedy or sports clubs on occasion..i like sporting events but I am not addicted to them. I would attend in person.
I like working out. Toning up and shaping up is a lot of fun and its great company in doing so.
That sums me up for now...lots more...I have good days and bad days like everyone else does...but at the end of the day, pretty mellow person...with a big heart.
