Date a man from United States. This feels more like the "bragging" space but it is a very good question "who are we"... too often we define who we are by what we do for a living. Have you ever tried to introduce yourself and not be able to talk about work?
Without giving it all away I am a well grounded person that believes integrity is at the foundation of who we are and what we do. I love to travel and explore new cultures, foods, and places. Curious by nature and question everything to expand knowledge and understanding; the day you stop growing you stop living!
At the same time one must always be able to laugh at oneself, the little things, not take life too seriously and keep the inner child alive and well.
Am fond of interesting debates and discussions, my glass is always 3/4 full (without being unrealistic I hope), I like to read and cook (preferably in good company and a glass of wine). I am an old fashioned hopeless romantic, am not afraid to admit that I am affectionate, like snuggling, and that I LOVE being a father.
Moved around quite a bit so it's hard to answer the proverbial “where are you from?” question. I lived in Sardinia (Porto Cervo to be precise), Rome, SF, Pisa, Brussels, Memphis, Okinawa (Japan), Washington DC and a few other quick stops sprinkled here and there.
I have been lucky to have lived around the world and have been exposed to many different cultures; SF is my home port, a port from which to embark on new adventures.
Sailing is my passion and one of my “must do” (soon) is a vacation sailing in the Caribbean … though, could be talked into another archipelago somewhere else in the world!
