Alrighty then.. Hi! have to say that I dance to the beat of a different drummer and have a knack for doing things differently.(not your average bear) I've got some serious laugh lines and smile a lot, perhaps too much but I can't help it. No fancy photos... just me... full of life, boytish charm and a lust for adventure but also a grounded, laid back man with an offbeat sense of humor. I just haven't had the best of luck...
I'm a bit of a country boy at heart and come from a Midwest tradition that I hold close. There's a certain mindset there that's very simple and about doing right by your neighbor regardless of circumstance. That mentality has been a great gift. I have a large extended family and love them all very much. The cousins still manage to keep in touch. (blessing) There are blessings here and there every day if you're watching close enough. Outdoor stuff. Yes please! I’ve got a lovable hound who needs to be out a lot so you can often find us together wandering around. (if my dog were any sweeter he would explode) Love mountain biking, packing, camping and doing stuff outside. Car camping is really fun too! I love to swim, fish and SCUBA dive. I seem to be drawn to all things aquatic. I keep in shape and love a good workout, however I can get it. I'm a hands guy, illustrator, painter, carpenter with a good set of tools and can fix/build/ make lots of stuff. Baseball's my game and I'm one of those who can see the magic. Twins fan all the way (ugh, really tough year) and Giants are my favorite NL. Yes, it's ok to have a fave in each league.
A firm believer that music fuels the soul and dancing frees it. I seek out live music when I can and can appreciate most every kind. I love a good adventure too. some of the best times i've had have been doing things I haven’t wanted to. Gotta keep that in mind. favorite color is crimson and I love the word redemption. I cook but my chops have gotten a little rusty. I like scary movies but nothing beats old Lawrence Welk shows for truly frightening. In my younger days I hitchhiked across the country a few times (which scared my family.) I regret scaring my family but not the experience and have some good stories.
It's fun to ruffle feathers and be a smart ass just to wake folks up a bit but always do it with a smile or a wink. everybody knows a dirty joke but my favorites are the clean ones(the ones that make Grandma snort) I guess that implies I'm a little nerdy. Ha! So be it! I'm convinced there's a scientific classification. Nerd the genus, dork the species.
You? Tall is wonderful but not at all requirement. I guess just have enough smarts to know that a good conversation involves knowing how to listen and not letting your own agenda taint the engagement... too much. (difficult) Just someone who gets it. I know that sounds a little vague but i guess just someone that keeps the simple things and basic values in mind. Lowell George had a song "20 Million Things" that sums it up, Grateful Dead's "Standing On The Moon" as well. I guess I fantasize too about the smell of you in my cashmere after you stole it for a few days. : )... (yeah, right buddy. ha!) It would be wonderful just to do stuff together and smile. Sounds kinda Mayberry, I know. (i like to hold hands too, shh...) total plus if you seek out moonlight and the stars.

Date someone special from Berkeley, United States. I want to take this slowly and get to know you first. I am an all around good guy:-) and I am looking for a all around good girl or lady. As I said in the headline, I want to be caught, so I as the fish will swim to you, sort like Finding Nimo, which is why I don't want to post any photos here. If you like some or any part of me (I don't know why and how, but you just do) and want to get to know me more, we can proceed from there. As the name of profile suggests, I am an athletic professor and I think I am very attractive. But I don't have too much time going out and finding girls. Well, I have reached some goals in life, and I am still working on only a couple of big ones. Hopefully we can fulfill them together. Actually one of these two goals has to be completed by you:-)

tall (so our kids can play sports - I will training them), smart (so they can go to Harvard if they choose to and win the Nobel Prize if I can't do it in my life), lovely (so I look forward to coming back home everyday), kind (so our family is harmonious), and educated (everyone can tell that from your mannerism). You are just a perfect lady! (and I am day dreaming) We can design our life together because we are capable of doing it - traveling, home-building, career expanding, having fun at the local bar or on the jogging trails, you name it.
However, if we can indeed touch off each others love string at heart, then the rest is unimportant...But most likely that would happen only if you have the qualities I mentioned above...I think I do:-)
