I work. Been doing the same job for 20 years and at 40, I still work circles around the youngsters. I am passionate about my career, but it does not consume my life. I work long hours and sometimes weeks at a time. I do this because the work needs to be done as people depend on me to protect and solve their problems.
I hunt and fish. I am an avid hunter. Been to Africa once, planning Britsh Columbia this spring. I am an ethical hunter and consume all that I harvest. I would rather wear camo than a suit, but I do clean up well.
I like sports. I am a Bay Area fan and will support all local teams, both pro and college. However, Giants and 49ers are the closest to my heart.

I like to engage in various activities. I do enjoy going out once in while to places where they have music, dancing, etc., but I'm also happy staying in and cooking, watching a movie, playing a board game, just talking, etc. I like to follow current events, such as what's going on in Syria. I am very open minded to other cultures, people, and religions. I now live everyday as a gift and love how everyday starts with a sunset (I never paid attention until I went to Iraq). I am an Iraq veteran (I was an infantryman In the Army). My time In Iraq was an eye opener but It also became my compass for the way I now live my life. The word "grateful" does not even describe how I now feel to have gotten a second chance. I was severely injured and spent a little over 24 months getting myself back into some sort of normal state.
I pride myself on my integrity. This was instilled In me since my youth ( and nailed into me In the military). My "street smarts" are above average and intelligence Is all there. I recently moved back to San Francisco after spending 6 years in Shanghai, China. My time in China was incredible, beautiful, challenging, infuriating, eye opening (choose an adjective and it will probably fit). I miss my friends in China, but I'm very happy to be back in such a healthy and fun city.

. About me? hmm… I don't feel all that comfortable describing myself since it is my interpretation and I could certainly be bias. So I will try and stick to general things that I know are true. I enjoy the outdoors, riding my bike, I just started running just about 2 years ago now, skiing, hiking with my dog, etc. My puppy is just about 7 months now and she is the coolest dog but I could be a little bias. I am honest to a fault. I am very loyal to my true friends. I am a simple guy, well at least so I have been told. I like to travel for vacation but haven't done much of that recently. My last trip was to Italy. I have a sarcastic sense of humor but I can take it as well as I can dish it out. Well as I said I am not much for talking about myself. As for what I am looking for: I am looking for a woman who is open minded, intelligent, and is physically fit. You must be honest and able to openly communicate whether it be good or bad.
