Date men and women from Colorado, United States. They say that home is where you hang your hat. With that in mind, here is a list of the hats that I've been able to wear and some things I learned along the way.
Iowa. Born and raised. My Dad refers to it as "God's country". I grew up in a small town, the kind of place where everybody knows everybody and you never had to lock your doors at night. I went to school with people who have become lifetime friends. I had family to keep me grounded and celebrate the highs and someone to cling to during the lows. I'm not always easy to get to know, but once you're in, I am a fierce friend and will back your play. Family is well, family. They're like snowflakes, no two are exactly the same. They're unique and special. I am the only one to have left the state of my birth and so I enjoy every opportunity that I have to visit. I like being the uncle from the "big city" and some of my best vacations have been spent being the designated babysitter. I developed a love for the "black and gold" known as the Iowa Hawkeyes and found that Kinnick stadium is a great place to be on a college football Saturday. I also learned that you have to stop once in a while and...watch the corn grow.
South Korea. 2 of the most incredible years of my life. I was introduced to some of the most kind and generous people that I have ever met. They opened their homes and their hearts to me. For a 20 year old kid who was halfway around the world from everything he knew, that was an incredible gift. I learned what it was like to be the "foreigner". I learned to appreciate a brand new culture and come to call it my own. I learned that all Americans are hairy, very tall, and have really big noses. Leaving was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do.
Utah. The west side of the Rockies. Alot drier than the humidity I had been raised in. Someplace where people watered their lawns. That blew me away. No one back home did that! Mowing was bad enough, you didn't want to give the grass any help. I also got my first taste of the "mountains." I am pretty much a city guy. I like living where there is always something to do. But, I do love to get away once in awhile. Take the paths less traveled and spend some quality time with Mother Nature. Of course, good company is always welcome. I began working in the industry that I would come to call my career. I'm not a desk jockey. I need to be up and around at work. It feeds the "energizer bunny" side of my personality.
Colorado. The east side of the Rockies. The first thing I was introduced to here was the Avs. They had just won the Stanley Cup when I moved out and the whole state had hockey fever. They have become the only Colorado team that is my favorite. The others being Da Bears, Da Bulls and the St. Louis Cardinals. After 14 years, it's hard to imagine living anywhere else. If this is the last hat that I will wear, I couldn't think of one that fits better.
To quote Steven Tyler, life's a journey not a destination. I'm single and I'm ok with that. What I want is someone to share the journey with. Do you enjoy good music? Can you handle a yearly visit to Busch Stadium to watch a baseball game or two? Can you laugh until your sides split? Do you like to get "just because" reminders of why you're special? Do you like long conversations that don't end until the sun comes up?
Do opposites attract or do you need some common ground to begin with? Email me and we can find out. You might make a new friend, gain a hiking partner, or who knows. Take a left instead of a right because the left just may be right, right?
Meet a man from Colorado, United States. Hello World, I'm a 44 year old man from Colorado Springs. looking for a nice woman to be friends first.

Date single man from Colorado, United States. About me, that is always the hardest part. A salesman I am [definitely] not! Well, here it goes!
I think the term most often used to describe me is passionate, goes hand in hand with the "work hard, play hard" mentality. I have been lucky and, I think smart, in holding on to good friends through life. I find it sad how often bridges get burned for individual events rather than individuals. I do not wear my heart on my sleeve, but for those willing to look a bit deeper, I have a very big heart to share and mutually care with/for those I love.
I enjoy being a gentleman. I come from a European background and miss the chivalry. I do enjoy holding the door, walking arm in arm, giving a romantic gift. The luck of being a man is the opportunity to "take care" of the woman I care for.
I am as comfortable in jeans swinging a hammer and building a house as dressed up (which I enjoy) at the symphony. I am open-minded in my own, sometimes eccentric, way and look for people who are able to laugh at themselves (and at / with others) and grow through their experiences, accomplishments, and mistakes. I am intellectual, hence I do form opinions based on a reasoning process and love to discuss and learn from other perspectives to form my opinions.
What do I want?? For starters, I am looking for friends to spend time and explore and enjoy the adventure/journey that life is. For me, that adventure includes "checking out" our planet and appreciating the wonder of it and its inhabitants, both human and animal.
It includes nice dinners, quick wit, intellectual AND light conversation, a mountain bike ride / run or hike with the dogs, an evening movie, a performance at Red Rocks, a more formal evening at the symphony, a day popping through galleries, a picnic on the lawn, playing with kids, making kids (and grownups) laugh and tell me I'm silly (my nieces' perspective of me!), sharing a free smile, getting a smile in return, making someone's day, helping a friend in need, whew, out of breath (I'm allowed the run on sentence with German in my blood).
In the long run, through encounters and serendipity, it would be glorious to find the gal that turns my head and lights up my eyes, just by entering the room. Bonus that the gal I have found is also my best friend, with whom I can share my experiences, my joy, my pain, and my wonder as the journey continues.
Meet a soulmate from Colorado, United States. I am a Proud Military veteran who loves his country. I am most Thankful for my son who is nothing short of a miracle, love him dearly. My perfect relationship is one where quiet time at home is as equally important as time out and about. I love the mountains and fishing.
Date someone special from Colorado, United States. Someone who open to a good and honest conversation. Not judgemental but open. Someone who just like to relax and at time dinner and a movies. Not a lot of clubing. Some one who is affectionate and like to express themself.
Meet people from Colorado, United States. i love to laugh, and can find a joke in about anything, the sarcastic laugh being my fav.feeling warm and fuzzy inside is one of many things that will make me smile.i live life on my own terms and my own way, maybe thats why i live in the mountains.i dont like massive amounts of people around me.just looking around what nature has created is plenty for me.i would rather sit under a universe of stars and watch the sun come up over the divide than sit in a bar with a bunch of booze bags!!!iam not looking looking to be tied to the ground right now, unless the the frist eye contact cries for heat, passion, and a future, and one more thing i feel that women should pick and choose who thier mates are.so iam kinda shy and like women to let me know there interested
women and babys 1
Date men and women from United States. So here we are, now trying to find the next match, right-one, soul mate, etc...
About me? I work hard everyday to be a good father, a good pharmacist, and get a good run in somewhere in between. If I can make someone smile or laugh then I've had a great day! My friends and coworkers would tell you that I'm honest, kind, warm, loyal to a fault, and overall a great person to be around. I'm kind of like a Labrador Retriever. But most of all, they will tell you that I will make you laugh! I dabble in all forms of humor including sarcasm, irony, self-deprecation and yes, "potty" humor. I never pictured myself as divorced (as probably most of us), but I will find myself a single parent with 3 great kids. But enough about me...
I'm looking for a confidante, a good laugh, intelligent conversation, and a best friend? A woman who is kind, compassionate, and affectionate!! I am looking for "that feeling" for someone when you can't wait to see each other. Mostly, I am seeking someone who is confident. stable, and understands that kids are the priority in whatever relationship develops. A laugh over a casual dinner and a drink sounds like a great first date, but I am always eager to check out a new band, go dancing, or catch an Av's game!
Meet a man from United States. Well, let's try this. I am divorced 1 year. Luckily, we are both bright enough to place our kids first. I consider myself baggage free of divorce related nonsense. For the first time in 10 years, I love the idea of finding someone that is a true fit this time around. I consider myself to be ambitious, a bit shy socially, sincere, caring guy with the need to constantly be challenged in life. I am a quirky kind of romantic. I will suprise you with weird things like unexpected trips or notes in your clothes. My father taught me to be a gentleman. I work hard but really look forward to downtime and hopefully spend it with the right woman. I have a huge soft spot for the elderly. I lived in Chicago and made a point of playing checkers at the old folks home on my walk back from the gym. You cannot beat an experience like that. Daily words of wisdom. My kids are 9 (Alivia) and 5 (Aric) and simply stated are my world and I love seeing them grow and sponge up life. My father was my best friend and although he is now gone I try hard to live with similiar principles. Nevertheless, I am hardly perfect. I had great parents and two older sisters. I cannot say enough about the love I have for my family. I grew up in small town Pennsylvania and since 21 have lived in many places because I like to see and meet new people. I do love Denver after being here only 2 years and have no plans to leave. I have lived in Houston many different times, Chicago, Wisconsin and Vegas.
I have a great career in the energy sector that brings many challenges but is also very rewarding. I am all about learning new things like cooking, astrology, collecting cool stuff off ebay, and I would really like to check out this geocaching thing. I like sweatpants and loose clothes more than being in a stuffy outfilt however I realize there is a time and place for both.
I hope to meet a woman who steals the show and allows me to just be myself. I am not a loner but prefer to stay out of the limelight when possible. I prefer zero drama in my life and don't mind being second or tenth fiddle. The biggest quality I seek is a nice smile and a bubbly personality over any other trait. I am a good guy who is sincere, trusting to a fault and passionate about many things. You would like my dry humor. My best friends are the one's I grew up with and loyalty is very important to me. One thing I feel good about is my vast array of different friends all over the world via business trips. It is nice to know someone pretty much anywhere you go!
I loooove sports. Playing and watching. I grew up playing all kinds of sports and feel it has really charted my life in the right direction from understanding teamwork to discipline and ultimately a rewarding experience. I am a sports junkie but also love hanging out at Barnes and Noble for hours people watching, conversing and having a coffee. I am over the bar scene for the most part. Die hard for the Miami Dolphins, Penn State and Philadelphia Flyers.
I am not a playboy or a serial dater so I am really taking this new experience seriously.
I love the outdoors, planning to buy a quad and camper soon so my kids and I can really enjoy Colorado.
I travel alot for work but the good part is that I pretty much dictate when and where. I do have my greatest responsibility in my kids as much as possible and love every minute of them so if kids aren't in your plans in some form or fashion we probably won't be a good match. I enjoy places like the beach, love Amsterdam and would like to really learn more about midieval Europe.
Let me in your door to be your friend, then best friend, then maybe your partner. Thank you for taking the team to read about me and my search for a soulmate. Even if we are not a match it is nice to know I was considered.
Date single man from United States. I can be very quiet and shy until I am comfortable in a situation, and then my true personality will come out.
I grew up in Utah, lived in Europe, and went to school on the East Coast. I love living in Colorado, where life is more relaxing, casual, and all about living.
In the fall, I am always looking forward to skiing and by the spring, I am ready for a change and can't wait to get out outside to go biking and walking. All year long, I enjoy going out to dinner, theatre, movies, listening to music, traveling, and hanging out with good friends.
My favorite sport to watch is hockey, followed by football and baseball.
I am looking for someone with similar interests, that is willing to try new things and will share in finding new adventures together.
Meet a soulmate from United States. Likes to have fun, honesty, trust are somethings that i truly believe in. Bike alot or when i get a chance to, love to dance one of my passions in life also. Just a people person, love to try new things.
Date someone special from United States. I am an easy going, quiet guy. I don't talk a lot but it doesn't mean I am not interested...its just how I am. I have an unusual sense of humor that a lot of people don't get right away. I have not had much experience dating as I married my high school sweetheart and just divorced. This tends to make me speak my mind and be honest, not in a mean way. I will tell you the truth. I have many wonderful friends that I couldnt have done this without and I will always be there for them as they have for me. I don't have preconceptions. I like to meet new people and have fun but, it takes a while for me to open up to new people. this can make me seem stand-offish but it is the way I am. I like to help others and yes, I have a truck and a few hours if you are moving. Buy the pizza and the beer and I am there. Does anyone really use all the characters available in this description? I mean really, I could type half of War and Peace in here (which I have read). Oh yeah, one more thing...I tend to change subjects and go off on tangents and make unlikely jumps in a conversation, so you better be on your toes and ready for some oral gymnastics if you meet me for a date. I am just getting out of a relationship that I really thought was the best thing I had ever had. I am not going to be looking to jump into a relationship. I have learned the hard way that you need to go slow and don't want a relationship that ends in a marrige proposal anytime soon. I am damaged goods and am looking to go slow. I will treat you well but god, I can't go quickly because of my past.. If you can treat me well I will treat you as an angel but please don't expect too much too soon from me. Honesty will get you nowhere I know, I am just being honest.
Meet people from United States. I am always of a positive mindset. Be happy, enjoy your life. I love to snowboard and ride my many bicycles. Camping, climbing , or hiking is a great way to spend a few days off. I work hard and I play hard, in fact I am usually more tired going back to work, than leaving it.
