Date men and women from United States / Colorado / Johnstown, 44 year old

Date men and women from Johnstown, United States. My self-summary:
Friendly, approachable, tame, witty, insightful, unconventional, compassionate, charismatic, liguistically polysyllabic, and multi-entendral man creature.
Seeking that person I was looking for 17 years ago, before I got sidetracked. She is small, dark, sweet, and has a wicked sense of humor. She also doesn't have a problem with oxford commas.
I live in northern Colorado, but my office is in downtown Denver so I am in the city during the week and enjoy meeting for lunch, coffee, nerf gun fights on the mall, whatever. :)
What I’m doing with my life:
Currently remodeling my house room by room. I could use some input. Lots of art, BIG art, and I'm currently favoring Italian designers. Also, I have lots of houseplants and spend an inordinate amount of time watering them.
I’m really good at:
Underestimating the gravity of any given situation.
The first things people usually notice about me:
That my corporeal state always seems to *shift* ever so slightly. It's quite obvious if I'm standing in front of bright lights, or an oncoming train.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food:
Very eclectic in this area - if it is sincere, and unique in some way I'll probably be into it. Anything fresh and unexpected - Banksy (street and modern art in general), graphic novels, anime, modern music. Always listening to music and if I have free time I'm reading, but I also enjoy film.
Last Read (in reverse order of appearance, natch):
The Tao of Physics
DMZ Vol. 10
The Computational Brain
Logicomix
Favorite Films:
City of Lost Children
Hellboy
Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Spirited Away
Current (this is always changing) Favorite bands:
Missile Girl Scoot
Rinocerose
Tuneyards
Shaka Ponk
The six things I could never do without:
Family
Irony
Art
Design
Expression
Books
I spend a lot of time thinking about:
The Missing Piece
On a typical Friday night I am:
Being a ninja, but my client list is confidential so I don't discuss this very often.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit:
I believe that wearing matching socks is a complete waste of time.
You should message me if:
You are an exceptional person (daft is fine, mainstream - not so much) and would like to make friends.
Also, I don't waste a lot of time on this site sending out mass messages to complete strangers so if you're interested let me know (wink, fav, whatever) and I'll reach out.
Cheers,
-Xix

Meet someone special from Johnstown, United States. Just FYI, Johnstown is north of Denver, near Longmont CO.
My friends would say I'm adventurous, compassionate, genuine, spontaneous, confident, dependable, honest, intelligent, reliable, funny, open minded, active, and financially responsible. NOT a couch potato! I grew up in a small mid west town and have a very good work ethic. I help my elderly neighbors and am alway eager to help a friend. I enjoy traveling without firm plans. I find the most enjoyable adventures happen by chance. It's rare that I'm not in a good mood, because there is always something to be happy about. I am an airline pilot. However, I primarily train pilots here in Denver so I'm normally home around 27 days per month.
I would love to meet someone who challenges me to experience new things. Someone I can laugh with and share a meaningful, stimulating discussion. You must be a little quirky and witty to enjoy my humor. Someone who is confident, intelligent, secure, passionate, romantic, and financially responsible, would be ideal. I look forward to meeting someone and someday spending a month exploring Europe or anywhere else for that matter. I can repair anything from a car engine to a computer and just about everything in between.
I have a great sense of humor and enjoy meeting new and interesting people. I'm comfortable in a nice suit or faded jeans. My favorite quote is "You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give".
I'll treat you and your children, if you have any, with respect and kindness. I'm not perfect and I make mistakes. When life becomes chaotic, I become calm and strong.
Frequently I'm the one family and friends turn to for advice.
I have four beautiful children that I adore and being a father is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I realize that's a full house but they spend half of their time with their mother so there is certainly time in my life for a relationship. My divorce was extremely amicable and my baggage is limited to a small carry on. My oldest son is 12 and the younger son and two daughters are 10. Yes, triplets but I'm still standing!
Ideal date: Stimulating conversation and laughter.
