I'll leave it to you to decide if that was over-the-top sappy and you're laughing at the computer screen (which is more than fine...glad I could make you laugh!) or if perhaps that struck you as indicative of someone you might want to know more about. Traveling, adventure, and serving our country with my fellow Soldiers are as important to me as self-awareness, personal growth, seeking knowledge and experiencing gratitude for everyday joys big and small. My biggest passion as an officer in the Army (retiring next year) has not been the excitement of flying helicopters or jumping out of airplanes; it is these incredible young Soldiers who serve their country. When I'm not playing Soldier, my other current passions are my kids and the outdoors. I won't go into too much detail here about my children but suffice to say that not only is being a Father my greatest responsibility in life, it is also my greatest joy - they make me glow.
