What I want from a woman is really something I can not demand. If she is "herself" doing her own thing and we get along then that is all I expect. When there is somthing she would like to do and I can get involved I'll do it. Going to say this with all sincerity my desire is to make the woman I am with feel good about us together and make them laugh. One little thing I have a problem with that has turned off my attempt with past match communications in the past is my constant e-mail exchanges. Alpine, x-country, telemark, and mountaineering - it's all good. Summer activities are mostly hiking in the mountains here in Colorado, often to a destination like a 14er or high lake. I can do things in town too - if I have too. Kind of handy around the house if necessary, love live Jazz music, swimming and yes a good intellectual conversation with friends and wine. I don't really define myself by my job/work (as strange as that might seem), but it can't be denied that it is a significant part of life. I have been successful enough in my career that I now manage a department with 3 separate functions and am responsible for 40 employees. I am who I am (who I've become?), but sometimes wonder if I might be happier if I was the mail clerk and didn't have to worry about so many things/people. But, of course, the job I have pays better. And, with better pay, more doors can be opened. But, I need to open those doors instead of walking on by. Anybody want to help me turn a few doorknobs?
Background? I am a good midwestern boy (boy? - I can't really be 54 already, can I? It seems like I've just started to live) from Wisconsin. However, I do not own a Cheesehead, nor do I look particularly good in one. And, although I have now lived in Colorado for 30 years, I do not own a cowboy hat; also don't look good in one of those, either.
My "perfect match"? There probably isn't such a thing. I have often said what a boring world it would be if we were all alike. So, sure, I would like to find someone with things in common, but not too much. Somebody who's a bit different in a few ways, I think, would be an even better "perfect match." Does that make sense? I LOVE to dance, there is something so natural when you are holding a woman and as a couple flow across the dance floor. Since I dance it follows I like to watch bands, and just listening to music. I would hate to bore you by telling you how wonderful I am by attaching to my name to a bunch of flattering adjectives. I am sure that you have already found this many times in other profiles. I believe that words are fine but actions speak much louder. So, why not start with a bad stuff – I am impulsive and restless at times but I've gotten much, much better.
