Date a man from Colorado, United States. What to say about myself...well, I'm 44 years old, but I sure don't feel like it. I've tried the bar scene, and it's not for me. I still enjoy going out with my friends, but I don't put too much into meeting someone that way, I'd rather enjoy my friends without the pressure of trying to impress someone. I've learned not to take life too seriously, and to be able to laugh at myself, cause life's too short to worry what everybody else thinks.
I've travelled, and lived in some places that many people wouldn't even think about going to, and I've learned that you get what you want out of these experiences. I've spent my entire adult life in, or around the military. I guess that has shaped many of my views on life in general, and given me some of the best friends a man could ask for. I'm currently in the Army Reserves now, I guess mostly because I enjoy it so much.
I currently live with a dog and a cat (they're so nice to let me stay at their house) and I greatly enjoy their company. Pets can be the one thing that will turn a bad day around, they're always glad to see you, no matter what.
I've got a nephew, and two godsons, who are all great kids. I love to spend time with my friends, as well as my family. If we're not out for dinner, dancing, and just enjoying each others company, we're camping, hiking, or checking out the game.
I love to laugh, and I'd love to meet someone who feels the same way. Goofy, dorky, and just plain fun to be around.
I have to admit, I'm a hopeless romantic. When I'm with someone I feel for, she's my world. I'm one for holding hands, dancing without music, and snuggling on the couch to a good movie.
My ideal date would be somewhat of a free spirit, have a great sense of humor, sarcastic, but not cruel, and ready to just enjoy my company, as much as I enjoy hers. I can't stand cheap beer (yep, I'm a beer snob); I prefer a laid-back brewery like Southern Sun. I love the feeling of floating through serious powder through the trees at Mary Jane, the adrenaline rush whenever arriving in a new city or the feeling you get when you meet someone that truly excites and fascinates you.
