I am not a drinker. I know this is probably a big deal for most. It never contributed anything positive in my life, and watched it take down a few others that were close to me, so I eliminated it completely, actually for many many years now. I would like to meet someone whose life doesn't revolve around drinking, or, it affects or impairs their personality/relationships. Maybe too much to ask for I am finding. So not being a drinker, I am not a social butterfly. Not anti-social.. Just more of a one on one person.
A love all seasons, but esp Spring/Summer. Love being outside. Preferably without much clothing. lots of sun, nature, hiking, camping, and just sitting back watching a movie. I am not a sports fan. Would rather be out doing it, or climbing a mountain, or anything else!

On contentment; I am doing what I feel exactly what I am supposed to be doing with my life. The work is both challenging and rewarding. Hope to maybe meet someone who feels similar contentment. ( I do like beach vacations, and being around the water if I plan a trip.) The little things in life are most important to me now. I believe that once you have the essentials, genuine happiness is inevitable. No matter where you are, or what you are doing with your life. Maybe having a provider and security is enough for some. Personally, I will never settle for that. I will hold out for something much more than a giant bank account.

Meet someone special from United States. That's what's so awesome about Colorado: if you've got the time and freedom to travel, the list of fun stuff to do outside just keeps getting longer. Started as a runner, then triathlete, cyclist, surfer, alpine climber, snowboarder, and now back to a round of a couple triathlons 'cause they keep you in darn good shape for any adventure. No, I'm not a fanatic. I've just learned that for me, moving outside=sanity.
About me (there's a book out...just email me and I'll send you a copy - yes, I'm being goofy) In Boulder too many years to count, 'cause I haven't found somewhere I like better. Ok, may-be Paia, Maui (Santa Barbara, too) - at least when the ice sets in in the neighborhood. Just as happy with a night spent cooking, and time on Netflix.
Built a yoga/climbing/dance studio on the back of my house, once the ugliest on the street. Venturing into raw in the kitchen, though I'm not a freak about it, yet. I enjoy (Un-) cooking, friends and gatherings, extended (backcountry and other) travel, laughing 'till it hurts ~ playing until exhaustion and exhilaration (possibly days on end), followed by great food, glass o' wine, and a good film. Live shows are a favorite too. Along with meditation and yoga, these balance out my life.
I run my own business, which in the Boulder handbook is crucial for the "doesn't wear a watch, can adventure at a moment's notice" lifestyle. It's a grace that a business can make all its expenditures on a card that gives you frequent flier miles. I've got a great crew...we have fun when I'm there, and I know things are taken care of when I'm not.
Grew up in San Francisco, NYC, LA and Santa Barbara, and love occasional forays into big cities (though am somehow a small-town boy; I have yet to fully define the dichotomy). I dig subways, theater, music, museums, and food hanging in shop windows making one ask, "what IS that"?
