I love to travel, whether it's a planned vacation or sneaking away for a long weekend on the spur of the moment. But I definitely like to come home and feel connected to the mountains. Beyond that, I admit to being a trivia junkie, and I like being around someone who can bring out my goofy side.
I also love to spend time with my daughter. She is the greatest blessing I have ever received, and she is always teaching me something new. My goal is to be as good a person in life as she believes me to be.
My tastes vary a great deal...I can be happy shooting pool or singing karaoke at a dive bar, going to a Rockies/Broncos/Avs game, enjoying the symphony or theatre, playing poker and craps in Vegas, spending the weekend at my family's mountain cabin with no running water or electricity, taking in a concert at Red Rocks or a jazz club, or attending a charity event or gallery opening. It is less about the event than the company.
I have never been attracted to a particular "type" of woman, meaning that her height, hair color or length aren't that important to me. I always look at her eyes first....they tell so much. I exercise and take good care of myself and look for the same in another. However, I am not one of these over the top, extreme meathead types whose sole purpose in life is to train for triathlons. Really, I have grown up.
