I live in North Central Phoenix and have an office in the Roosevelt district downtown (my office is the one with the nice homeless gentlemen in the parking lot, actually that descrides most offices in that area so nevermind). I am self employed which allows me the freedom to do a lot of traveling and surfing which are my favorite things. In the last few years I have been to London, Paris, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Hawaii (twice) and Costa Rica. By the way....the rumors are true, everyone in Sweden is beautiful! (London not so much)
I spend most of the summer in San Diego at my place in Encinitas. Surfing is my absolute passion and I normally get to surf about 100 days a year. When I am stuck here in the desert I hike almost everyday. I am very active and I am looking for someone who loves to exercise and is also very fit. I am sarcastic, quick witted and love to laugh. I choose free time and the ability to travel over making an obscene amount of money. I would like to find a partner that is a professional but views their career as a means of allowing them the freedom to enjoy life and not a personification of who they are.
I am open to almost any type of activity and enjoy learning new things. However, I do not camp unless it is on the beach. I love yoga but Bikram is not for me. If I wanted to be miserable and sweaty while an angry woman of questionable sexual orientation makes me feel inadequate I would just go to the Lilith Fair when it comes to town in July. I stay pretty healthy but appreciate balance in life. I start most days with a green drink, but start others with a Mimosa. After a good hike or gym workout, I'm just as likely to follow it up with a pizza as I am with some wine. I work two jobs. Not because I have to, but because I aspire for more. Many of the experiences I want out of life simply cost money so I'm executing a plan that will allow my son and me to continue to enjoy all that life has to offer. Don't worry. I'm not a workaholic. I wrap both jobs up most days by 5 pm.
I come from a great family, and I have friends all around the country in the many places I have lived (NY, Philly, MD, South FL and Scottsdale). I often travel to NY, CO and FL to visit with my family, all great places to visit.

What I'm looking for? Although it would be great to make some new friends or to find people to hang out with, I'm really looking for someone interested in the whole long-term deal. I still have enough energy to toy with the idea of having kids, but admittedly I am probably getting too old for that to be in the cards.
