I am looking for my last best friend....lover....confidant....partner...wife even. But you gotta start somewhere. (I know, I know...i'm not even divorced yet, so how come I'm talking about a wife....well, I've been separated for over 2 years from my second wife, we are friendly but a reconciliation was never possible, I wanted her to complete her citizenship application (she's a permanent resident), the Summary Dissolution is filed and awaits the court's final approval....that's the best I can offer) I divorced the mother of my children almost 20 years ago. Here's the part that will scare most of you away...I'm friends with most of my ex's. Why? Because I'm a great friend, but never had the time to be a good boyfriend. Now I do.
I am part white/caucasian...part not. I am mostly Basque, Portuguese, Spanish, North African, and Mexican Indian. My family has been in California since the late 1700s, and Lake Berryessa in Napa County was named after our family. I speak English with a very distinctive Mid-LA accent, but my French, Spanish, and Mandarin sound more like an East-LA tour guide.
I am a nice guy. I like being active, so if you're not active, then we probably aren't a match. I like bike rides down to the beach, walking, running, and road trips.
I have a great sense of humor...I can be sarcastic, dry and witty. I don't suffer fools well. I am very well-tempered (it's rare that I am ever angry)..., but I am passionate about life, music, art, humanity, and family. But not politics. I am very well-read and socially aware. I can argue as if I am the most conservative republican or a leftist democrat....and make you believe. But I am apolitical.
I am a self-employed consultant by trade, but a writer/musician/artist/poet by avocation. Music is what I really love. All music. My IPOD has everything from Rock to R B to Hip Hop to Top 40, Classical, Latin, Reggae and even a little Country..
I like having fun, but not at the expense of others. I don't drink very much at all, but when I do, I hold it well. I don't smoke, but if you do, it doesn't bother me.
I love kids. Period. I love mine, and I love all kids. I wish everybody was a child. Things would be better.
I love dogs (have had dogs all my life) and cats...but am allergic to cats unfortunately. However, I can live with them, just can't sleep in the same bed with them. I used to train Tennessee Walker horses many years ago too.
I'm good at baseball, kissing and ping pong. I'm ok at tennis, cooking and chess. I'm a good poker player, do some card tricks, and I juggle. Really. I'm a regular carnival. I am socially aware and have good manners. However, I tell a good Mexican joke, and am vulgar only in the most appropriate of circumstances. I believe in God, but She may not be the same one you do. I love conversation, movies (yes, even chick-flicks), watching the LA Kings, LA Dodgers, LA Lakers and other sports, but not ever at the expense of a loving relationship...I'm a man, but not stupid.

Meet single man from United States. "That which does not kill you makes you stronger"....well, that pretty much sums up the past five years for me. Emerging stronger and resolved to spend the next fifty years with my glass more than 1/2 full.
