Date a man from California, United States. Work real hard, play real hard, help people. That is basically my approach. I am a partner in a large law firm and work a lot of hours. It's hard, and it's fun. When I'm off work, I want to enjoy life: could be a reggae concert, could be a blues bar, could be a pub crawl, could be a fancy meal at a fine restaurant, could be a classic and simple home cooked meal, could be a Lakers or Clippers or Kings game, could be a symphony or the opera or the recent exhibit at LACMA, could be a stroll in the neighborhood with my precious yellow lab dog, could be discussing the debt ceiling and entitlement payments. I go on Habitat for Humanity trips to Guatemala, Honduras, and East Africa and build a home with a local family in the country. I go to orphanages and volunteer; was in Nepal at one, was in Haiti at another. And I am looking to adopt one or two orphan children from overseas.
I'm looking for someone who would be comfortable at a large formal meeting of lawyers and businesspersons, who also would be good sitting at home in front of the big screen watching D. Wade feed LeBron late in the fourth quarter, who also is spiritual, who also wants a deep, loving, romantic relationship, and who also would enjoy helping folks who need a helping hand. If that person looked great in heels, might be open to adopting kids, and liked an occassional martini, we could have something . . .

Meet single man from California, United States. One day while I was preparing to photograph a very rare species of hummingbird, I was sitting with the hot sun on my back for hours, waiting for the exact right moment to capture the perfect image. I watched, amazed as a small flock fluttered around one particular feeder that had run dry. Still they persisted in their useless attachment to that feeder. Was it determination, loyalty, or just blind hope that their needs would be met? As I sat, silent and still, I thought I am like those birds, here on MATCH, hoping that with that same persistence, and with the right words, photos and timing, I may have a chance of capturing the heart of just one amazing woman.
When I am not pursing my photography, I am a chef at a well known restaurant in the desert. There is a lot of satisfaction in seeing my guest’s enjoyment of the food I prepare. I take a lot of pride in providing an exceptional experience for everyone. Of course, the hours are demanding, but I have time in my life for everything that is important to me, like my two children and someone I care for.
I don’t know what you will look like, or sound like, but I do know you will be like that rare precious bird I photographed. All your mysterious femininity will enchant and compel me to be my very best self for you.

new at this, so my heart is filled with "mixed" emotions. Its extremely hard for me to write about myself, really! I grew up in the South Bay area in which my family always provided love as our foundation. This love that I've been the recepient of has transcended me through my life and has served as a great foundation in which I gladly pass on to my daughters!
