Date single man from Brea, United States. Hello!
After all this time, I still don't have a precise way to introduce myself, so here's my current attempt.
I'm a nice guy by my estimation; of course we will have to make contact for you to verify that.
I confess that I'm an English hack, but I will not correct your writing nor will I blurt out criticisms at the movie screen when we go out on a date...I'll wait until asked.
I became infatuated with the English and England when the Beatles were on the Ed Sullivan Show and I've never gotten over the lure of the speaking like you're really smart, even if it’s a cockney or Northern England accent. However, I was a rather very poor writer until I went back to school to learn my trivium and quadrivium. Along the way, I became interested in both literature and martial arts offered by those English-type rascals. This brings me to what's up these days. I participate in the Original Renaissance Pleasure Faire which we just completed the 50th anniversary season. I am proficient in sword play and other weapons of the period. Also, I guess my fascination with the English things come from the fact that my ancestry is mostly northern European (Irish, Scottish, English, German, with a little French and American Native Indian). This spurred another hobby of mine which is tracing my family tree. Work is still in progress, but I have some relatives that go back to Boston in the 1780's. Ah, did I get off point?
A small piece of trivia (no, not trivium), I was an extra on a "House" episode in 2010. I thought I did a fantastic job of standing there looking at stuff on camera. Such pathos, such empathy, such pork!…That's my claim to my 15 minutes of fame, what's yours? Sorry, did I offend anyone with the pork reference? And I did a "Go Daddy" commercial that was published online.
I have a great career where I really enjoy my work as a subject matter expert and managing consultant. I write about and develop "stuff" for when things go bump in the night. ..No, that's not an innuendo, well, maybe it is…To get away from such serious "stuff", I enjoy various entertainment venues such as movies, theater (my favorite), music and all the other things you enjoy. Wow! See we have so much in common.
OK, here we go with the windup. I'm back on the scene as things are going really well and I'm interested in making new friends and relationships. Wanna play?
Cheers!
