Date single man from United States. I'm a psychologist who relocated from New York City to the San Francisco Bay area in 1985. I recently left a 16-year career with the California Department of Corrections (where I was a Supervisor in the Mental Health Department at one of the State prisons) to help the grad school where I teach build a new Social Transformation program & work on issues such as peace building, climate change and social justice through changes in global governance.
When I'm not off "saving the world," I have an active personal life, and love exploring new things and new places. I Hike, Backpack, Ski, Bike, Scuba Dive, Kayak, and (swing) Dance. I've been on Safari in Africa, treked to Mt. Everest, and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. But don't get too nervous, I also like "normal" things too, like Movies, Dining, and the Theater. To top it all off, I've also been meditating since 1985 and live in a wonderful cohousing community in Cotati.
People say I'm a good caring friend and a good communicator. I say I'm very organized and pretty GOOFY (but you probably couldn't tell that from this profile.) I'm looking for someone with similar interests and values, who wants to share the joys, trials, and tribulations of living in this crazy world together and hopefully making it a better place in the process. I'm also open to raising a family (either by having children, adopting, or helping you raise yours).
