I lived in Orange County for 19 years until two years ago when I took a job in Santa Barbara, but still visit Orange County quite a bit where I own a home and where most of my friends are. I am looking to meet someone who will give me reason to spend more time in Santa Barbara/Ventura area, or central coast in general.I now have a dream job teaching at community college, and am hoping to add a 2nd career in the next couple of years.Teaching at a beautiful campus in a beautiful city with amazing people has made the move worth while. I am grateful for where I am in my career. But it is time to shift the focus from career to personal relationships.
I am a big sports junkie, follow all major sports, and have already been to several NFL, NBA, and NHL games in person this season. I used to play baseball growing up, but now am more of a tennis player. I’d like to hike more and explore this central coast area more. My new passion is traveling, going to places I haven’t been, doing things I haven’t done. Hopefully I will be able to find a partner in crime.

Meet a man from United States. I guess i could write something about how I love being outdoors and traveling and my friends and my family and blah blah blah(as my 4 year old nephew once told me). Truth be told you will never know me and I you until we talk, thus, I'll keep it pretty general. One thing have learned is that moments never last. No matter how bad you want to stay in the moment - you can't. I guess what I am saying is that I try, try being the imperative word, to not take life for granted. I'm not saying everyday is perfect, but I try and recognize the good ones and enjoy them. One of my favorite quotes is from a 85 year old caddy my dad had in Ireland. He told my dad, in reference to life - "this aint no dress rehearsal laddy" I can honestly say I am keenly aware of that fact.
