I have been called a cowboy. I have owned horses for twenty years until recently. If it can be done on a horse, I have probably done it. Now I ride my bike regularly but have pals the are happy to have me join them with their horses. Nothing like being around a campfire, with guitars, lively conversation and open skies. A good dance partner can be hard to find because I insist on leading and most women do not know what that means unfortunately. I am not much of a planner because being spontaneous can be so much fun as there are few expectations. I am interested in being with a lady with class who also has the capability of kicking off her shoes and letting it fly. I am very adaptable and equally comfortable in boots and a hat or a tuxedo. A good woman is comfortable with herself, has a sense of independence and plenty of close friends. She will know that it is more important to collect good memories than possessions.
I am very fortunate to have three wonderful kids that all have college degrees, good jobs and very independent. We are close and enjoy being together. I have alway enjoyed be a dad and was the primary parent. Having kids can teach one about sacrific and sharing for the good of all.

My passions are, in no particular order: My 2 adult kids, writing (my full-time profession), my friends, baseball, classical music (don't let that scare you - I like most music), the beach, the mountains, travel and, of course, chocolate.
