One day while I was preparing to photograph a very rare species of hummingbird, I was sitting with the hot sun on my back for hours, waiting for the exact right moment to capture the perfect image. I watched, amazed as a small flock fluttered around one particular feeder that had run dry. Still they persisted in their useless attachment to that feeder. Was it determination, loyalty, or just blind hope that their needs would be met? As I sat, silent and still, I thought I am like those birds, here on MATCH, hoping that with that same persistence, and with the right words, photos and timing, I may have a chance of capturing the heart of just one amazing woman.
When I am not pursing my photography, I am a chef at a well known restaurant in the desert. There is a lot of satisfaction in seeing my guest’s enjoyment of the food I prepare. I take a lot of pride in providing an exceptional experience for everyone. Of course, the hours are demanding, but I have time in my life for everything that is important to me, like my two children and someone I care for.
I don’t know what you will look like, or sound like, but I do know you will be like that rare precious bird I photographed. All your mysterious femininity will enchant and compel me to be my very best self for you.

I respect other cultures and understand the need for organized religion as it provides a good structure for the family. I was raised Catholic and went to church every morning except Saturday for eight years.
I like to fish but prefer to hunt with a camera. That doesn?t mean you need to like fishing but that?s okay too I can let you come along and maybe you can show me a thing or two about casting a fly if you are so inclined. If you like to wrestle gators or noodle catfish we might not be a match. I was raised in the midwest with with midwest values and work ethic. I like to work hard and play hard. I teach my children the same.
I believe the values that we pass on to our children are more important than the Net Worth statement we leave behind. I like to travel, take risk, rely on those close to me and be relied on.
The woman I spend the rest of my life with will have artistic or other interests of her own and will not expect all of her happiness to come from me. She is independent like me and we are both crazy about each other. She is confident and trusting and knows she can trust me because of the way I make her feel like a woman.
