Meet a man from Los Gatos, United States. Thanks for looking. I'd like to meet a woman who would be my best friend. I'm easy going and unconventional - saddened by the state of Mother Earth - walking lightly is my top priority.. Don't have any kids but I am very close to my two nephews who live above me, to my sister, my third grade students. I very much enjoy one on one or small groups of people. Love sports, especially soccer, basketball, cycling, cooking (I'm vegan), gardening ( used to run a farm), meaningful movies, documentaries, music... very interested in spiritual growth. I'd like to meet someone that will be my best friend and partner in experiencing truth. Life is short, let's live in the moment. Carl Sagan understood this well, he said, "We are like butterflies who flutter for a day and think it's forever." I'm good with kids since I remember how I felt and what I appreciated as one; mainly to be respected and listened to. It's amazing that we're in our fifties already. I enjoy the wisdom and peace of mind, and taking care of myself is more important than ever. Let's play and take care of whatever and whoever life presents. The kind of gal I'm looking for? Well... she enjoys living, is classy and kind hearted, takes care of herself, smart and educated, loves the outdoors, can laugh at herself, feels good about herself....
Date a soulmate from Los Gatos, United States. I'm a loyal person who is always honest, ethical, caring. Integrity, and values are very important to me. So what am I looking for... "chemistry", a best friend, someone I can cycle, golf or hike with, a companion, affection, EMOTIONAL and financial stability, hugs, kisses, and a lover. I am looking for someone that is EMOTIONALLY available and stable. Integrity and honesty are paramount to me. Fun, smiles, laughs, sharing, good communication all go with this for a great relationship...
At a social function or party I want to look across the room and be proud that you are with me. You will know by my look that you "matter". I know you are out there...
I am hoping to find the possibility of a blossoming committed monogamous relationship. "It is all about matter".
I enjoy new adventures, have a zest for life and am spontaneous. I am looking for a woman who can enjoy new adventures but also find the joy of just being together. Sitting by a fire enjoying a good glass of wine or champagne with you is just great!

I keep physically fit working out on a regular basis running 5 miles, 3-4 days a week or biking. I also ride my bike a few days a week about 15 miles per run. I am a very young 57 years old in thinking, attitude, lifestyle and fitness. I enjoy the outdoors with golfing, tennis, mountain biking, snow skiing, walking, hiking, traveling, snorkeling and zip lining.. I'm on a bocce ball team that plays weekly; our team's name is Budda Bing. It's fun! You should try playing one day soon. No couch potato here. I have a great sense of humor and laugh a lot. I enjoy life to the fullest. I have 2 great girls, 19 and 21 years old. Both are away in college. My family is paramount to me. I moved from the Boston to the Bay Area about 32 years ago.
I am comfortable wearing jeans, a business suit, and enjoy wearing my tux at social events.
All of my pictures are very recent.
I would enjoy talking with you however if you post pictures which are you years ago and don't look like you now or you embellish your profile and/or are "crazy' please do not apply! I'm looking for honesty...thanks :-) LOL. If you have had an affair in the past I am not interested in you. I have never ever had an affair or broken my commitment. Please write no winks. That was my "disclaimer", LOL Thank You. Wow, that was a lot but all important for you and me...
OK that is me in brief... who are you?
Meet single man from Los Gatos, United States. I'm an ex in New Yorker. I went to college in the Midwest and grad school in the Bay Area. I played most major sports in HS or college and a couple of them at the professional level. Although sports have been a big part of my life, they don't define who I am. I work out some but I'm not fanatical about it. I'd like to eat healthier, but since I don't smoke or drink, I tend to indulge my eating habits a bit. After 20 years as the CFO of several hi tech firms in Silicon Valley, I decided to venture out on my own. I'm a self employed financial consultant working with small, publicly traded companies. I do SEC and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance work, but my job, like sports, doesn't define who I am. I'm a good communicator (I write great emails), a great conversationalist, a caring person, a best friend, and someone who'll always tell you the truth even if it's not what you want to hear. My personality is pretty laid back. I won't jump out of an airplane or do Niagara Falls in a barrel with you, but there's a world of things we can discover together. I have a 28 year-old daughter. We do a lot together, some things planned, others spontaneous. Whatever we do we make sure we enjoy each other's company.
Who am I looking for? I don't have an "ideal woman", but one who is ideal for me. I would like to meet someone who's educated, articulate, attractive. She is flexible and can adapt to any situation. Her wit may border on light sarcasm and she can give and take equally. She has accomplished things, is well read, cares about people and the world we live in. She is non judgmental and will vote even though she may not like the candidates or issues. She is comfortable in jeans or dressed for our special times together. She will enjoy our times together and she will know intuitively that I will respect those times she wishes for herself. We will share similar values but will have enough differences that discovering each other will be an exciting journey. She doesn't need a man to make her whole but would love to have someone that complements her life. She will have a love for travel, the outdoors and believes in her heart that cultural differences enrich our lives and touches each of us in our core. Come join me in this search for each other.

Meet a man from United States. - Giving it one last chance -- and see what happens. If you are interested.. send me a note
Timing in life can make all the difference. When someone asks you what is important in life? How do you answer that question. To me - it is about trying to make a difference at work, at home and in the community where we live. It can be the little things -- the polite hello to the grocery clerk at the checkout stand. It can be offering a hand to open the door for an older gentleman or lady- or suggesting to them that they go before you in the long line at the store. Seeing the hard working man labor in the sun all day, and offering him a cold glass of water. It never hurts to help someone with a little jolt of kindness. Remember never be too busy to ask someone if they had a nice weekend. I don’t take myself too seriously. There is laughter in every voice, there is
potential for joy in every predicament. I try to walk through life with a light step. I try to sSmile a lot, and let my smile shine through –I think it shows that I care, and hopefully it surprise someone and bring some joy to their day.
The old saying that life is a journey really applies to those of us in the mid-life. It is never to late and try something new and hope for the best. I don't get caught up in the small stuff -- you just need to focus on the next step in the journey. Not that our past isn't important, but so much of life is looking forward not in the rear view mirror. We do learn from our past, but we must adjust to both good and bad experiences...
I'm seeking that next step where career, life's friendships and opportunities mesh. Balance is more important now -- where a day of exercise, outdoor activities end with a nice dinner. Living at the beach is a great place to enjoy the southern California experience. I am also comfortable in the Sierra Mountains of Lake Tahoe and the Northern Nevada region. The best of both worlds -- having the beach and mountains.

Meet single man from United States. All people are essentially good, but some are better than others at recognizing this. What we worship we tend to become, and integrity, honesty and open-mindedness are essential to a good night's sleep. Our mistakes are our best life lessons. If you are easy to laughter, a confirmed optimist, and enjoy the journey as much as the destination, we might have a thing or two in common.
