Date someone special from California, United States. I feel that I have lived a varied life including going to university in England, studying two martial arts and running several marathons. Although the martial arts and marathons were part of my past I now enjoy cooking, piano, swimming, hiking, biking and most anything outdoors. What I learned in England was the work-to-live versus the live-to work approach to life which is more common here. Although it has taken me some time, I have created a balanced lifestyle for myself between work and play and feel fortunate to have been able to do charity work as well. I enjoy exploring and being exposed to new ideas, people, things and places as I hope that every new experience will be a positive one. I am an easy going person who enjoys frank conversations and learning something new or hearing different opinions as we all have many things to offer one another. I try not to take things too seriously as my life is fun and enjoyable and it helps that I love to laugh, even if the laugh is on me.

Date someone special from Malibu, United States. In the interest of full disclosure I've just bought a house in Hawaii on the North Shore of Oahu. I thought it was just going to be a vacation place bu i've decided with the advent of a job offer and the realization that you only go around once in this life that a change (a big change) is in store. I probably won't move till the beginning of next year but at this stage it's almost guaranteed to happen! This won't stop me from continuing to look for a caring and meaningful relationship but obviously my days in Southern California are numbered. For any of you that are still reading here's something about me: I love the outdoors and do the best I can to make each day as unique and memorable as possible. I also like to go to concerts and movies and try to get out and see the "good stuff" as much as possible. I like to cook and work on getting better at it. I tend to migrate towards the BBQ but love to make breakfast and hand grind coffee!
I don't have any children of my own but have a pretty big family and lots of get-togethers at the beach in Malibu and Laguna as well as trips to Sun Valley, ID. I spend most of my time around my current rental home in Point Dume in Malibu but try to get to Cabo and/or Hawaii once a year!
