Date a woman from San Diego, United States. Where to begin? I generally wake up each morning in a good mood and remain happy throughout the day. Not that sad events or frustrating interactions can't bring me down, but for the most part, I genuinely love my time here on this planet and not at all combative. I'm very comfortable in my own skin and my place in the world. In terms of diet and exercise, I try to keep it healthy... tend to live by the 80/20 rule-- good 80 percent of the time and indulge 20 percent- what can I say? Sometimes an in and out burger or gooey dessert just can't be resisted:). And whereas I love riding around on my road bike more than almost any other activity, there are days when cuddling up at home with a good book or movie sound even better. I have amazing friends, a rare close-knit family and ridiculously cool dogs. I'm lucky to have a career I both enjoy and am actually pretty good at--one that allows me to be creatvie every day and offers a lot of flexibility in terms of my schedule and day-to-day responsibilities. Fair warning: I have a rotten sense of direction, have been known to get cold in 70 degree weather and can be a real klutz at times. Growing up, summers were spent dragging a little Snoopy suitcase all over Europe -- Eurail pass in hand - -trying to keep up with my parents and big brother. We certainly didn't have a grand budget on these trips but I am certain that this early and frequent exposure to other cultures, countries, languages etc. has had the greatest influence in shaping who I am, how I think, even who and what I tend to love. Travel has made me a better person or at least more interesting. These days, travel is mainly confined to a few long weekends and hopefully one big juicy trip per year. Needless to say however, my passport is always current - is yours? I was married for a very short time (less than 2 years) and have been divorced for several years - - no children, no contact and no real residual drama. Safe to say, any baggage resulting from that relationship fits easily in the overhead bin. Re: kids-- I listed not sure only because I really don't know whether or not having my own children is in the cards or if I will remain the "favorite Aunt" and adoring Godmother of the most delicious baby boy in the world. I adore children, and should you have any from a previous relationship, will likely fall in love with yours too. As for my match? You're happy with who you are and comfortable in your own skin. Hopefully you have a close circle of friends that you enjoy spending time with and should there be a weekly "guy's night' Or golf day, I'm all for it--time together is precious and time apart, I think is also important - -giving both an opportunity to miss each other and hopefully a chance to come home with a colorful story or two to share. Like most girls, I melt over old school manners and a sense of humor and ability to find humor in both yourself and daily events is a real plus.
