I also like sailing, light bike riding and tropical water activities, but don't get the chance to do these things often enough. I take care of myself and my appearance. I prefer a natural look - little make-up, unfussy hair, and I don't get my nails done - but I enjoy getting dressed up for an event such as the theater, symphony, opera or a special night out.
I have lots of military in my background. My Dad and former husband were in the Navy, my son is in the Army, and I worked for the Navy for 20 years. I stand when the flag goes by and get a lump in my throat when I hear the National Anthem.
I don't believe there is only one true soul mate allotted per person. It's the interaction between two people that can make them special to each other. But you can't test the possibilities through winks or emails. There must be live, synchronous conversation, at least on the phone, if not in person.
