I'm a bit of an anomaly: never been married and no kids, but not because of anything to be weirded out about—I was pretty focused on my career and going to graduate school until a few years ago. Have dated a few people seriously throughout, but haven't yet met my soulmate. I've worked hard to get where I am, but now that I'm here, and have a great career, of course there is a missing piece that I'm beginning to feel more and more. Since I'm surrounded by siblings and friends who are happily married, and parents who just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary--I want my forever someone, too, to begin building memories with.
ME: I'm an easy-going person who definitely focuses on the positive. I am driven and passionate about my work and helping others. I love to travel and experience new things more than anything. I am open-minded and value that a lot in others. I love candlelit dinners and long walks on the beach.... (just seeing if you're paying attention!)
Fun facts: I've been a banana slug and anteater; have lived in a foreign country for the experience of a lifetime; love an adventure anytime, anywhere; am in love with yoga and on a rare occasion can quiet this crazy mind of mine with meditation; am constantly inspired by music, art and anything creative; and will always be a punk rocker at heart!
And even though I don't have them, I just love kids. They have an innocent joy that easily rubs off on me. Luckily I'm around them a lot with my work and my family.

I'm probably a bit of an addict: I love my coffee. A lot. But not more than my kiddo, or Pearl Jam. I live in the mountains, and it's beautiful, and sometimes I still miss the city. So I point the car down Hwy 80 and head to the Bay.
I tend to be a positive thinker, and overall I'm really content. All that might be missing is some mind-blowing-awesome dates. Ultimately I'd like to retire from serial dating, and move towards the LTR...but dating is where it starts.
I do have some preferences when it comes to what I'm looking for in a potential partner, but life has also taught me to be open minded. That said, I prefer we be close in age, and I'm tall, so I prefer men that are my height or taller. Geographically, closer would be better than further, and chemistry is important too.
