My new found freedom is spent in doing many different things, I've always had a love for the outdoors--walking, boating, camping, even fishing. I'm not afraid of getting a little dirty out in nature. Indoor activities include reading, watching TV, good movies, concerts, plays, art museums and other museums. I also love spending time with interesting people, having conversations that are challenging and fun, over wine or coffee. I enjoy helping people make decisions over things they want to buy or experience in their lives--actually the experiences, like travel --I feel--are more valuable than just saving money, but both have their place.
Ethnic differences are interesting. Not just the food, but customs and thoughts about life--can be thought provoking. Food is enjoyable, of course, even trying new recipes. This year, I've been fortunate enough to make several trips-- to Italy (Sardinia and Rome). New York City, and Michigan, to visit my kids! I want to do more traveling soon.
I enjoy the company of both men and women, but being with a man is a special time, because I feel men think so differently. I was lucky to have a very loving and committed relationship for many years, and it's something I can be fortunate enough to experience again. . I am a very happy, very healthy senior. I like to be active and I love to travel - both locally and long-distance. Cruising is one of my favorite vacations. I have travelled extensively throughout the United States and Canada, as well as several areas in Europe. My next travel spots include Russia and Sweden. I love learning new things, especially about people and culture. One of my favorite areas has been New England in the fall.
I enjoy talking walks, particularly in scenic areas, such as beaches and golf courses. I like a glass of wine with dinner, as well as wine tasting. I love good food, but am not the greatest chef. I would love to meet someone who likes to cook or BBQ.
