Well, I was born and raised in San Francisco, Ca, then lived in Brooklyn, NY for 10 years-now I'm back in the Bay! It's been exciting getting to know Northern California again. I have no idea who he is, but he made a brilliant statement. This is not to say I stand out from the crowd because I have green hair or something, but more about who I am as a person. I love the outdoors, especially Tahoe and Yosemite or anywhere in the mountains. I love the coast too...lived in Santa Cruz and Capitola as a kid and loved it. I've only ziplined once, but there are several spots around the globe that I've got my sights on. Also on my bucket list is to dive with the Great White sharks. I love hiking in Yosemite and one day would like to conquer the back side of Half Dome. I need the right partner for that! Skiing and snowmobiling are some very favorite things to do.
Music is a really important part of my life. I grew up on classic and hard rock in the 70's, metal in the 80's (actual metal, not the glam crap) and a fair amount of good music in the 90's. I enjoy Spanish guitar a lot! I can totally get into some oldies but goodies too! And I must mention the blues...sexiest music ever.
Sports are great, especially the San Jose Sharks, Raiders and A's (hey, I'm an east bay girl and LOYAL, don't hate!) I love to play softball and watch my daughter play as well.
Speaking of my daughter...she is the light of my life and favorite person in the world. She's almost 16 and one of the coolest people I know. We have a great relationship, I feel extremely fortunate and grateful for her.
Yes, I have weight to lose. I'll put that out there up front. I am very into healthy ideals however and am working very hard towards the slimmer me. This is not a load of crap btw...I mean it. I walk 4-6 miles every day...I have eliminated sugar, wheat and dairy from my diet (other than the occasional beer/wine/cocktail) with great success and am attempting to be as organic as possible. We all have something we need to work on, right? Would love to have a partner to exercise with!
I love the little things and the grand gestures. A night out can include hole in the wall all the way to 5 star dining. At home, my favorite is grilling out either on our own or with a group of friends. I can hardly wait to have a home in Tahoe with an awesome deck just for these occasions!
