I love adventures without a GPS...it makes life so much more interesting. One Halloween my friend and I found a gold mine in Oregon! The guys working the night shift came out with masks on and really gave us a scare! I recently took a friend of mine from Scotland down to LA and we were all around Rodeo Drive, but had a heck of a time finding the actual street...some nice security guard at a high end jewelry store helped us out though!
I am down to earth, not pretentious or materialistic, easy going, enjoy puttering around the house in my overalls, drinking coffee (or beer) with my friends, and just being real.

I love to travel and luckily my job takes me to the ends of the earth. I have a pretty extensive bucket list that includes Antarctica, heart of Africa, the Himalayas, etc. as well as the historical site of Europe, Asia and the Americas,
enjoy everything from laying on a pristine white sand beach to expedition trekking. But also enjoy wining and dining, fundraisers, polo and the more reserved side of life. I am not spoiled and have experienced everything from 5 star to tents in the jungle,
everything has its place and its moment, to be honest I have been happiest living on islands, it makes you realize what you really need in life, a sense of places, friends/family and a beautiful view :), but SB is a good 2nd
More than anything I love new experiences and living life to the fullest, new cultures always teach me to be humble and appreciate every breath, sounds intense :) yes I admit to being A-type but I am pretty easy-going and a home-body as well, enjoy cooking, gardening, a good movie, bad TV in moderation :) to balance the intensity of all else.
Things I want to do in the next few years- get my pilot's license, learn to kite-board and snow-board better, sky-dive and learn to ride a motorcycle, but also finally finish a book I start and all those little art projects haunting me

- my favorite days are those spent with friends laughing and hanging out with my labrador
- enjoy spontaneity, as my schedule is bit crazy
- always up for new challenges- my latest challenges are surviving WOD after traveling for a few weeks and learning 2 new languages
