Date someone special from Hancock Park, United States. I'm a fabulous 40-something that looks as if she's in her late 20's. I'm an attractive, creative, well-educated, fun, excited about life, honest, caring, loving, and looking for that special someone. I'm sure he's out there, but I'm having fun learning about myself and doing things on my own, so am willing to take my time to find the right fit for me.
My ideal guy would be confident, supportive, have boatloads of integrity, be motivated to take care of himself emotionally and physically, funny, honest, trustworthy, loving, open to public displays of affection (I'm touchy...not in a porno way, but I like a man to feel comfortable with my touching him.)and will have worked on and continues to work on his issues. We, all, have things that need fine-tuning, so that's not a deal-breaker; however, being complacent and clueless is. Cute would be a plus, but cutenesss is in the eye of the beholder. If you have a great personality, are confident enough to maintain eye contact with me, and are open, curious, and know how to listen, then I would love to get to know you. Dudes, if you have a problem with being with gay people, don't bother writing me. I have so many gay friends, so, if you're going to be uncomfortable, please move on.
I love to eat, so dining is key. Big plus if the guy knows how to cook, or is willing to cook with me. It's romantic! I enjoy going to the movies and theater, reading (am reading a lot of plays now. I have a goal to read 1 stage play or screenplay a week), traveling, checking out recipies on-line (may be dorky, but one day, when I have the space, I will be ready!). I've started rollerblading on the beach once a week. I still haven't mastered breaking, so I run into trees or on the grass :-). It's a blast, though, and it's good exercise. I do yoga about 4 times a week, and I find that it keeps me sane and help me sleep better.
I'm grateful for my wonderful circle of friends, for all my achievements, and the fact that I've pretty much done everything I've ever wanted to do. I've traveled by myself, lived in the D.C. area for about 20 years (yay, Northern Virginia!), and, most recently, Buenos Aires for 6 years. I have been an art model, doctoral-level psychotherapist, and am now a full-time actor.
There isn't anything I regret, even if it ended up being messy; everything's a lesson in the end.
Meet a soulmate from Hancock Park, United States. Whether you are the "most interesting man" who has never worn lip balm or confident like the old spice man on a horse backwards, you will make me smile and laugh. I hope my smile will melt your heart and make you smile too. Curious, creative and intelligent are three words my close friends use to describe me. I seek a gentleman to share myself with and to explore and discover new territories. Let's venture out together and then end up snuggling at the end of the day. When at home and the weather's good, I can be found on my rooftop terrace looking at the Hollywood sign and enjoying the amazingly peacefulness of my 'hood. I want to get to know YOU, your likes and your dislikes, your thoughts and your opinions. Let's leap into summer with a bang!
Simple pleasures are essential. The smiles of my niece and nephew always bring a bigger smile to my face. I am open to all travel options, not as a necessity, but as something to plan together and to look forward to. I recently renewed my passport and it needs many more stamps. My travel experinces include extensive travel throughout Europe (even Poland and East West Berlin just before the wall came down), also Thailand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India (wow!), and of course Hawaii. I just visited Indochina in January: Cambodia and Vietnam, the Mekong River and Ha Long Bay, incredible people and cultures. I think South America is up next.
Dogs are pets, cats are cats. I am an NBA and golf fan, some NHL, and will start gearing up for baseball fever now that it's summertime. I am originally from the land of 10,000 lakes but have been in LA for years. I have been involved with a small real estate company since it's inception and really enjoy it and appreciate the people that I interact with on a daily basis. I feel fortunate for that. I also do my best to balance out my life beyond work and enjoy what life has to offer.
