The last show I saw was Roger Waters' The Wall- it was absolutely incredible. I also love to be near any kind of water- oceans, lakes, streams, waterfalls, even just a pool. I haven't traveled much in my life so far, but look forward to doing so as my parenting and career demands allow. I enjoy luxuries but don't need them to be content. I love camping and backpacking, RV's etc.
I would love to find the right person to share adventures, friends, family and lots of laughs with. Life has so much to offer, and it's so much more fun when shared with the right partner. That can be hard to find and to maintain....but it's possible, and I wish you the best!

Ok, so seriously I absolutely love running. Not so much as for fitness, more as to the way it makes me feel like a 6 year old.
Just ran Long Beach Half Marathon, and HB Half, next one is very very soon. I'm not the fastest, but I don't walk/jog. Would like to be with someone who is active as well, at any level. Definitely not a health freak, I just love that feeling of exertion. Other sports tennis, competetive beginner, snowboarding local and Tahoe, never been to Mammoth, i have golf clubs, i used to surf when i lived in San Diego, not sure of a Cardiff equivelent out here just yet. I love to begin new books, takes alot to hold my attention to read through, ive read most of the old must reads, love nonfiction.
Ive been in OC almost 2 years. Might move back to San Diego in August. Not so sure about the OC...
I obviously like someone active, a bit of nerdy intellectual, who appreciates dry humor and some mild verbal abuse every once in a while( optional of course). Last but most important, there HAS to be chemistry.

The exuberance in which she expressed this statement alone was quite frightening, you might say if she was on the ledge of a high rise at that very moment she may have just as well jumped off into the traffic below. Well, I was born back on the East coast in a little town in Pennsylvania and was raised for the most part in Texas. I've lived all over the U.S. and for the past 12 years have called Southern California home. I suppose I'm a "Texacalian". I quite like it here and just might stay a spell. I'm petite, my hair is it's natural color (of dark brown) my eyes are hazel and I'm all original parts...I've found that is a rarity in this area...lol. I've been told more than once I'm a "spitfire." At about 109 soaking wet I wouldn't say I'm intimidating but I certainly think I could knock out an intruder with a cast iron pan if the moment presented itself (gosh I hope the moment never presents itself.)

My closest friends say I am an animal and kid magnet, funny, intelligent, resilient, cute, stylish, strong, magnanimous, sweet and they always forget my age is what it is...which I take as a compliment. I have been single, taken, engaged, proposed to (and declined) and have come out on the other side having grown through all of these changes. Relationships (of all types) honestly play such a poignant role in your life and how you grow and cope and I believe in life you have to live and not "wait." I would say dance and yoga keep me centered and fit...paddle boarding calms me...reading makes me want to read more...and sunscreen will do wonders for your skin. I revel in the "new"...experiences that change your prospective, create ideas, break boundaries, open doors in your thought processes or kick start your energy...art, history, travel, literature, live sports, writing, archeology, anything kitsch or vintage, ephemera, design, theater.
I always seem to be surrounded by much laughter, I am blessed by a tight group of friends and although they are scattered all over, a close family. I have a niece and nephew who are quite astonishing and full of life. I am very close with them and talk with my 9 year old niece everyday. I suppose it is a short time that we are here as they say and I always try to remember that "kindness is timeless." I volunteer and I try to look beyond myself to others. I most certainly have a soft spot for children and have logged many hours of volunteer work spending time with some of the most amazing young people I have ever met.
