Meet a soulmate from Atascadero, United States. Me: Newly single woman who is happy with life but wants someone to share the highs and lows with. I love being active and getting outdoors. Last October I completed my first half marathon. I don't plan to stop there. I was training for my first tri in May but had to put that on hold, but I hope to still do one this year and I hope to do a full marathon at some point. I'm 41 years old, but many, many people tell me that I look like I'm in my early 30s. I still feel that way, too (maybe I even feel like I'm in my 20s -- without the party lifestyle). I am loyal to a fault and really just a sweet girl.
Most people describe me as "cute" -- kind of a girl-next-door type. I also love to get dressed-up and get out, though most of my days are spent in jeans/tanks or shorts/flip-flops. I have been told that my sparkling smile and deep brown eyes are intoxicating. I have a great sense of humor, can be sarcastic, and I am looking for someone who can take what I dish out but also give it back. I've missed my smile, and look forward to getting it back!! I can be both silly and sassy, I'm fun-loving and I'm 5'6" but I love a good, sexy high heel. I'm not into games, but I do love a good flirt (unless I'm in a relationship, of course). I can do the wine and cheese thing or go beer and pretzels -- but I don't have a beer belly, don't worry.
You: Honesty is probably the most important quality I am looking for in a man. I love a good funny man, and well, and good looks certainly don't hurt. I would also like to find an active partner (let's run a 10k together, or a mud run or something). You shouldn't be afraid of a little PDA when you are feeling it -- a passionate kiss or hug in public? And then the standards: loyal, well-mannered, and just generally a good, likeable guy, hopefully at least a little thoughtful. I'm not looking to take anyone away from their hobbies or their own friends. A tall man is a turn-on for me, but personality is most important. And I have a tattoo, so I don't really care if you have one, more or none.
I love my 2 boys and consider them the greatest gift I've ever been given. They are my priority now (as they should be) but I have plenty of time to give to an adult relationship as well.
I'm also (for the most part) a liberal living in the land of conservatives. But I'm not a crazy loon, and I'm not afraid of a little healthy debate (just not heated debate).
I absolutely LOVE to travel -- traveled extensively thru Europe in the 90s, have been all over the US and western Canada, and there are way too many places I'd like to go to list. Basically, if there's an opportunity to go, my bag is packed!
