moving right along... I'm a mom, I have two wonderful daughters (20 and 21) that have grown to become my best friends, being their mom has been the most rewarding aspect of my life; they have made me who I am today. They both still live at home with all the comforts that has to offer while they discover who they want to be, both are responsible and respectful. I sincerely believe that having children changes the way a person looks at life, I'm looking for someone who is also a parent and who can appreciate what that means (not a must have, but a very nice to have). If you're not a parent, you should love kids, even grown ones =).
I'm also: happy, down to earth, warm, open, caring, genuine, kind, and friendly. I have a fair amount of street smarts and I'm intelligent. I'm great with money and am fabulous at managing a household. I'm hardworking and responsible. I'm independent and do well alone, but I don't prefer to be alone. I love jeans, t-shirts, and flip flops, but also enjoy dressing it up for a night out. I stay in shape and try to make it to the gym 2 or 3 sometimes 4 times a week, (not a gym rat). I'm very into healthy living and caring for my body, but occasionally I have pizza and french fries (though not at the same time). My goals are centered around my piece of mind and not my check book, but my check book is always balanced and I know where all my little pennies are. Favorite Saying: Happiness is wanting everything you have, not having everything you want. I do my best to remember that and live my life in that way.
I like to do things very spur of the moment, just decide and go! I love being outdoors, fishing, hiking, walking... speaking of fishing, that is something that offers plenty of communication. I love spending a weekend doing fun active outdoorsy things like walking trails and hiking, going to the swap-meet, browsing thrift stores, and looking through antique shops. Hiking and ballroom dancing are two of my favorite activities, I especially like swing dancing. I've had some ballroom lessons and am looking for someone who would be up for learning to dance with me (almost a must). I love yard work and would like the person in my life to enjoy being out there with me tootling around the yard doing this and that. I don't mind cleaning and would prefer to clean up our messes together in a playful sort of way (I do NOT want to be a maid). I enjoy trying new things and catch on very quickly. Love card games, board games, and puzzles. I also enjoy a nice night in with dinner, red wine, and some cuddling while watching a good movie.
