Date a woman from United States. I am a woman who finds joy and happiness being with my family and friends. I love to laugh and a good sense of humor is very important to me. I am constantly striving to live my life to the fullest and am always trying to grow as an individual and surround myself with people that feel the same. I'm fortunate that I have wonderful people in my life, but do miss snuggling up to somebody at night. I am looking for someone who has similiar interests to mine, but also has their own interests and activities. I think two individuals who can be independent and self-reliant make for a more interesting, healthy couple. Everything happens with perfect timing. I take great pride in my career and am good at what I do; although, I don't live to work, I work to LIVE!!
Meet someone special from United States. Had fun at the last SLO Blues game I went to. Since it's the season, anyone else up for a game? When the Blues Score, you...er, get $2 crappy beer, but that's beside the point. It's still a lot of fun!!
Anyway, back to the awkward write up. I guess you'd first like to know about me. I don't have the body of Kim Kardashian although on occasion I've been told that I look like Elaine from Seinfeld. LOL. I still don't see it, but I suppose that's better than Roseanne Bar or someone like that. I enjoy doing half-marathons and mostly walk them. I generally do about 4 races per year, on average. My next one is scheduled for October. Oh, and I'm going to do the Color Run in San Diego because that looks fun! It would be nice to have someone to train with if you're into that.
I think I'm pretty easy going and like being around others who are the same. I like traveling, though I don't do it often enough, and love meeting new people. Right now it would be nice just to meet someone to have fun with. Sure I'd ultimately like more in a relationship, but friends are always a good thing, too!
What am I looking for in a guy? A great sense of humor, someone who is financially responsible and an overall good person. I admit, I'm a bit of a romantic at heart, but I'm also a realist. I'm fairly independent so I don't necessarily need someone to take care of me. However, I would love to have someone to share things & do things with. I'm not clingy. I'll give you your own space. I also appreciate it when a guy is courteous, opens doors for me, and that sort of thing. But don't get mad if I do that for you, too. I like doing nice things for people that I like and care about so you'll have to get used to it. Anyway, I'd love to meet someone who could make me laugh. Joking and teasing is part of my genetic make up. Of course, the first time you meet me, I'll probably be shy and clam up.
And this seems to be a big wish so far, but it would really be nice to find someone with good communication skills. Perhaps it's due to my degree but I appreciate it when a guy can write a paragraph with some actual punctuation in it. And, by the way, this does not mean that I want an entire relationship based on texting. What's the deal with that, anyway? Doesn't anyone ever talk anymore?
Did I mention I'm a Raider fan? Now, don't be a hater. I used to live in San Diego so I'm also a fan of all things SD...Chargers, Padres, Karl Strauss beer, etc. That's safe, right? After all, who doesn't like San Diego? And who in the world wouldn't like Karl's Amber Lager? That's pretty good stuff! :) Cowboy and 49'er fans need not apply. LOL. I am just kidding. I don't really like either of those teams, but I won't hold it against you too much if you do. Everyone has their flaws, after all. :)
I know that meeting this way is always a little awkward so feel free to send me an e-mail if you have any questions or want to get to know me better. I'm trying to keep an open mind about this process, myself. No pressure..
