I grew up dancing all my life – tap, ballet, jazz, hiphop. I was in a couple professional companies in my younger days. I’ve shied away from the spotlight lately, but I’ll still take one or two dance classes a week.
What am I looking for in a guy? Someone who’s comfortable catching happy hour at a local dive bar, but can also clean up for a professional event. Someone who’s down to go to a Charger game or Padres game, or just chill at home and catch it on tv with some pizza beer. BTW, can you believe I’m a native and have never been to a Padres game?!? What?!? I love to laugh, so having a similar sense of humor is key. Plus, I’m a sucker for a guy with a nice smile. I’m not super mushy, but I cherish small everyday gestures – like getting a hug when someone notices you’re not feeling well, or a message/call just to say you’re being thought of.

Some people say I'm too honest. I am a bit sarcastic and like to joke around. I have a good sense of humor. I enjoy making people smile. I love laughing so hard that my stomach hurts, and my eyes water (even if I'm laughing at myself, which happens often enough..LOL). I would also consider myself to be very caring and nuturing. People that know me would agree. I like watching and playing sports. I'm one of those girls who will spend Saturdays watching my college football team play, and Sundays watching the NFL.
I also like experiencing new things, and love traveling. In 2007, I spent an amazing 4 months traveling around Asia, Europe, & Israel. I'm a very career-oriented and family-oriented person. I have a graduate degree, which I use for my profession. I love what I do. In regards to what I am looking for in a man, I am looking for a well-rounded person, including someone who is also career-oriented and family-oriented. My "ideal" relationship is where both people are open and honest with each other. If these 2 things are present, I think the relationship is "golden", as I believe people can overcome anything if these two things are present. It is important to share similar morals and values in life (such as family, education, etc.) I want to find someone where we will both be comfortable with each other, and do not feel the need that anything needs to be hidden from the other. I also believe it is healthy for both people to have their own separate lives apart from each other. Well, these are the ones I will indentify with :). I think I'm a pretty simple girl looking for simplicity. A tomboy at heart (im the girl who hangs out w/ 10 guys and is treated like their sister) who hates the mall but can still slip on a mini skirt and 5 inch heels when the time calls for it. I enjoy dancing downtown, drinking a bucket of beers with my friends on a Sunday, playing on hiking trails, and lame touristy things like running around balboa park. A little about myself: I just moved to San Diego from NY. I love to be outside and run marathons, so I'm really excited to be here. In the next few months I plan to train for a triathlon and become a better surfer. I love my job, but have become increasingly aware of the importance of friends and family.
