Some people call me blunt, don't like to sugar coat things, but I also try to be very compassionate as that is how I would like to be treated. I think I can be funny at times, especially if I have a receptive audience. Over the years I have tiptoed around situations I am uncomfortable with, but as I get older and learn more and more about myself, I know what I want and the tiptoeing is more sure footed :) Possibly the reasons I am still single...haven't settled for just any guy.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my family. In fact, in the last few years, we have all gotten a little tighter and I look very forward to seeing them as much as I can. My mom has taken me on as her traveling partner as of late (we go dutch treat). Anytime I get to spend with my family is golden.
I absolutely love to hike in the mountains as there are plenty of them around these parts. Skiing in the winter is my main source of fun. When I am down in So. Cal. (often), I love going to SC, LB, DP, etc. Love the whole coast. I have a great social life and make a huge effort at keeping the friends that I have. Very important.
Dogs are awesome and I'm kind of thinking about getting one soon. Just a little nervous because I love to travel, but I know it will all work itself out.
I have done a lot of traveling in some people's eyes, but not nearly enough in mine.

I am "retired" but have been taking workshops to be a tour director and have very recently been thinking about becoming a dog trainer.

I am a lifetime member of Sweet Adelines International and currently sing baritone with the 2 time world champion Harborlites Chorus, based in Anaheim. It takes up one or 2 nights a week and occasional weekends :) All of my friends are Sweet Adelines, so finding a music lover would be ideal!
