Employment: In the last five years I have been involved in two startups. I wrote an e-commerce brokerage system of around 40k lines of code. That company made it in the top 200 of Inc.'s Top 500 fastest growing privately held companies last year. So I am peaking now.
Family: I was a single parent for more than 10 years to my two daughters and a stepson, and they still love me. We are quite close and see each other at least a few times a week. So I have that going for me.
Musical taste: Classical music, chamber music, progressive and classic jazz, bluegrass, all kinds of acoustic music, folk, Dave Alvin, "Americana" rock. Everything except lame Nashville country and hip-hop. Jam Band shows.
Politics: I am a peace / prosperity / love / justice / equality type (a Liberal). If you think that the problems in the US are caused by budget deficits, government regulation and permissiveness, we are probably not compatible.
Intellectual Interests: I have big innalekshewl innarests. All kinds of nerdy things, French Impressionist artists and composers, beatniks, Things that keeps the neurons firing. Always wanted to attend law school, but alas, the logistics were too overwhelming to do it for a hobby.
Spiritual: Seems like Generosity and Compassion is the way to go in this lifetime. All the rest seems like a footnote.
Travel: Been to lots of places, Europe, India, Australia, Israel, 46 states of the USA. I would like to see the pyramids in Central America. The three day nature hikes in Tamil Nadu. Viet Nam, Great Barrier Reef, NYC, lots more Europe, Rome, "Paris, Peru, Iraq, Iran, I mean I speak very fluent Spanish" (Thanks Stevie Wonder - Don't you worry 'bout a thing).
Other redeeming virtues: Dogs like me and vice versa. I used to be a hippie (look at that any way you like). Seem to do very well with teenagers because I am not uptight.

The picture is my Rat Pack Show but I don't require center stage attention, really down to earth(hey, I just got my second set of fish/don't ask about the first, swimming upside down is not fish aerobics)Worked the cruise lines in HAWAII couple of years ago , swam with the dolphins( did not plan that, fell out of the boat)...I have a diversity of work and life experiences so not afraid of a challenge, however, I am not still in the process of "discovering myself", I know who I am..But here is what I enjoy....wading the river up in Cheesman Canyon chasing some BIG fish(man, I love the Colorado outdoors), change into my tux(that's my "little black thing"), dinner at an Italian bistro before we catch a show downtown. Heard the Mercury has a Big Band playing tonight or maybe some Salsa lessons at La Rhumba....Sound like fun? Young at heart and spirit(try me on the dance floor) my weakness is chili dogs(thank goodness for the gym)..give me a wedge and I can usually save bogey(actually a 12 handicap)..love the stock car races.. I bring a passion and for adventure(jumped out of a plane once and they heard me screaming all the way down).I like my alone time, fact is I need it ....But I also need to share experiences(ups AND downs)..I've treasured the aqua blue of the Mediterranean(even won a small fortune in Monte Carlo, whatever 100 francs equals )and smelled the fog of London but still so much more to see and DO!..Here is what I need from my partner...A twinkle in the eye and a laugh that is real.. maybe the occasional "move it or park it, jerk " escapes your lips… You can be spontaneous and imaginative but mellow on Sunday morning with the paper strewn about while I make you breakfast(I can, really but save me the funnies).. …You expect to be treated as an equal and a lady(I usually open your car door but my remote key broke). but you know how to melt a man with a wink and a smile and a squeeze on my ...whatever is closest...cause you have a mischevious and spunky side(man that is not fair).. Food strengthens the body while love strengths the soul. A person is incomplete without love..Love is a noble act of self-giving, offering trust, faith, and loyalty. The more you love, the more you lose a part of yourself, yet you don't become less of who you are; you end up being complete with your loved ones..Live by the golden rule - do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Help at least one person each day and be kind to all you meet. I am not into games. I mean what I say. These are some values I have and look for in other people. I want someone i would spend some good, quality, fun time with, most of my life has been career oriented. I set career goals for myself and I have met those goals. I have a great job and i believe i have done very well for myself. I like to go shopping with women. I consider them my teacher.
