Date single man from Colorado, United States. Not certain how to proceed so here's my pitch: I'm originally from Los Angeles, Redondo Beach. I work for Vail Resorts as an executive chef. I have been with the company almost 5 years, first in Wyoming at Grand Teton National Park and now at Keystone for the last eight months.
I don't have a favorite color so I usually default to blues, blacks or whites. Favorite food is Mexican and Asian. I enjoy the chiles, herbs and textures of both cuisines. All-time favorite band is Talking Heads, and although I appreciate a wide spectrum of music, I generally lean towards alternative. I like British humor, Monty Python, not Benny Hill.
I am married (25 years) but my wife left me almost a year ago. (long story) She is living with her brother in Pittsburg, and she is currently pushing for a divorce. No children.
I have a few bad habits. Alienating people after 25 years is one of them, I guess. In my personal life I tend to procrastinate, which runs counter to the culinary industry with its rigid, drop dead deadlines. I can organize and execute a banquet for a 1,000 people. Schedule my yearly physical on time, not so much.
Also, it took me an hour to get to this part of the questionnaire. I'm either methodical or lame.
Meet a soulmate from Colorado, United States. I enjoy a flexible work schedule, which allows me more time off than most to discover and play. This allows me plenty of “alone” time, but I am looking for someone that can share whatever free time they have left over. I respect a woman that can take care of herself, that doesn’t “need” me, but that “wants” me to be around because she likes spending time with me. I like the idea of two people living their lives to their fullest potential, yet having a special mate to complement each other.
I have been lucky to have a wonderful life full of adventure with a great variety of friends. I hope to continue to live a full life, but life’s great moments are better when shared. I enjoy stimulating conversations and being intellectually challenged. I prefer a mate that keeps me on my toes and helps me become a better person.
