Life is too short and I'm not about to let it slip by so as the old ABBA song goes why not “Take A Chance On Me” and see what happens. I asked my female friends how they would best describe me from a women's point of view and here is what they came up with; great listener, makes them smile, good looking (got to be in the eye of the beholder!!) great personality, honest, can always be counted on, compassionate, a gentleman, respectful, sensitive, and a decent man. Humm must be my Midwest upbringing as I thought all men should be like this.
Now when I look in the mirror it cracks but between the cracks I see a fun loving guy with a sense of humor, witty, stable, financially sound, professional in the corporate world, a gentleman, sensitive, filled with common sense, organized/neat and experienced in life, but if you’re looking for that full head of gorgeous hair you’re about 20 years too late. I enjoy scuba diving, horseback riding, traveling, skiing, watching sports, dogs, people watching (yes I admit it) and family. Your down to earth type of guy who is not afraid of hard work and enjoys helping people out whenever possible - not always the life of the party but always the last one helping to clean up. Last year I did my first Courage Classic to benefit Children’s Hospital and am starting training early this year so I can finish the ride. It was one of the best “good feelings” I’ve had in a long time. This year I plan on being more involved with “There with Care” which holds a personal meaning for me and I’ve been fortunate to participate in the last two Harry Potter parties in Denver that were hosted for this great charitable organization. I’m also a person who is not at ease at putting down in words what should be discovered about each other together. Never been a big fan of communicating through text as you lose the emotion and they can be taken in the wrong context. I like to hear what the person has to say, to hear their voice, the emotion and be able to respond back. Guess I’m still a little old fashion in that sense - not to say I don't text just not a replacement for actual communicating.
Like most I'm looking for someone to enjoy life with, to laugh together and at ourselves - infectious laughers apply here. Too share their most intimate thoughts or concerns and to be best friends, wanting to share a life with someone because you enjoy being together not just because you’re alone. A woman with a sense of humor and wit, one that likes to get dressed up for dinner and theater or head to the movies in blue jeans and eat tubs of popcorn - has to like chocolate too! One who is extremely comfortable with who she is, confident and knows what she wants in life, indepentent, spontaneous and willing to try new things, as well as sentimental and loves romance. Just being together cuddling in front of the fireplace on a snowy night, talking, holding hands, enjoying a sunset together in perfect silence, crying over a movie together, a romantic weekend away or just embracing what the day has to offer has to be up there as well.

I just recently moved to Denver from the east coast less than a year ago from the Finger Lakes Area north end of Keuka Lake, for a change in lifestyle.
