Date men and women from United States. I moved to Denver in 2006 from my home in Scottsdale, AZ. I moved here to be closer to my family and absolutely love this state! I have an amazing 4.5 year old son that is my world! I'm very active in his life and enjoy every moment I spend with him! I love all things outdoors--snow skiing, water sports (skiing, knee/wake boarding), basketball, softball, football, hiking, camping, fishing, golf (The Ridge at Castle Pines North), mountain biking and anything else I forgot! Truly love all foods--Mexican, BBQ and Sushi are hands down my favorites. I enjoy all types of music, art galleries, the theater, the ballet and the opera.
I've traveled extensively and can't wait to travel with my son (and hopefully someone special) and show him all the wonderful places I've visited. (England, Finland, Sweden, Germany, France, Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, Egypt, Mexico, Canada, Japan, China, Argentina, Brazil, Fiji, all the Hawaiian islands), plus I'm excited to visit new places I haven't seen!
During a normal week you'll find me coaching practices and games with my son (M,W), league bowling with my friends (W,Th) and we try to hit Chatfield Res on the boat around 2-4pm on Sundays, where we stay and enjoy the sunset. I also really enjoy watching the sunset at Daniel's Park (very short hike/bike from the house). I try to mountain bike in the evenings regularly, and am looking forward to getting back to the snow to ski this year, as my son is ready to try it!
As for who I'm looking for -- someone who's HONEST, caring, intelligent, spontaneous, sarcastic (in appropriate doses) and above all, values trust, respect and the importance of effective communication. Would be great if religion was a priority or at least an interest. I believe it's my responsibility as a father, to raise my son with a strong presence of God in his life!

Starting Fresh: First of all let me clear up this Currently Seperated Bit: I have been seperated for a while and the only reason I'm not officially divorced is because I own a seperate business with my ex. and neither of us are willing to let the business fail just because are relationship didn't work out. That just screws eveyone in the end. So in order to keep the business growing and profitable we have decided to take the time needed to seperate the assets "from a business sence" without the emotions until the time comes when we can seperate everything indefinetly, which is a lot more involved and time consuming than you might think. I hope this clears it up. So for me, I am looking for someone who I can do things with, be it hiking the incline on the weekend, taking a walk, mountain bike riding, having a drink or coffee, going to a movie, lunch, dinner or maybe taking a short trip somewhere. Although a LTR seems nice at this point I'm just looking to meet new people. Who knows what might happen down the line. I like to think of myself as a very caring, honest, funny, supportive and encouraging person. I get alot of happiness in helping and encouraging others to become better. I think it's one of my strongest traits. I'm also good at fixing and building things from cars to clothes dyers. I probably should not include this but yes I can sew too. Hey you play hockey long enough you have to sew your own equipment sooner or later. BTW duct tape (WHILE GREAT) does not fix the problem (typically), however my dad would disagree. I have a 16 year old son. I have a great family and many close friends who mean the world to me. I'm a very hard worker with an entrepreneurial spirit. I own my own business and I'm a partner in another. So I stay very busy. I exercise as much as I can (probably 4-5 times a week) not only to keep fit but for my sanity. RANDOM FACTS: I compete 1-2 times a year in 24hr mountain bike races. I have played hockey since I was 7. I have raced cars up Pikes Peak. I'm afraid of snakes, but don't mind spiders as long as there small and slow. I have won the longest drive hole in golf, but am a terrible golfer however I do enjoy the beer cart. I have a phobia of flying but love to travel. Needless to say I never watched the movie about snakes on the airplane, or whatever it's called.
