Date men and women from United States / Colorado / Boulder, 41 year old

Date someone special from Boulder, United States. I work hard as a Real Estate agent, and I love what I do.I love meeting as many new people as I do. Whether I enjoy the people or not, it's all about the experience. (Ha, just being honest!) Yeah I know everyone says this, but I love to travel. I travel every chance I get. I love interesting sights..Indulging in cultural treasures while taking in the night life.. it's all about the contrasts. I love to try new things.
I tend to go with the flow and not be the person who organizes things. I'm impulsive and indecisive, which basically means if you have a plan I'm down! I love to laugh and make others laugh, I keep a healthy lifestyle and work out regularly, but have a huge weakness for ice-cream. (Don't judge me!) I am loyal and compassionate to those closest to me and I expect no less. Most importantly I am a gentleman and I am looking for a lady.
So what am I looking for:
Intelligence, energy, and lets be honest... beauty. I am drawn to adventurous women who have lived interesting lives and have lots to talk about. I like someone who can be content hanging out at home or going out for a nice evening. Fun is the bottom line. I want someone who can keep me equally excited in a conversation as out and about on the town.

Meet people from Boulder, United States. I'm not really sure what to say here, so I've decided to throw out some random thoughts:
I have smile lines, I have since I was in high school.
I'm usually a little formal when I first meet someone, but it isn't out of stuffiness or that I'm up-tight, its out of respect.
I like to open doors for people.
I like to country dance (especially swing), but I rarely listen to country music.
I've started 2 companies and joined 2 other start-ups very early.
My parents are two of my closest friends.
I live for my kids.
I've started reading Moby Dick 8 times, but never finished it.
I love my work.
I really want to learn to sail (and have a plan in place).
I believe in the Harvard/Oxford/serial comma, although I am not religous about it.
I'd like to think that I'm a smart, pragmatic, caring guy with a nice smile (or at least that's what I've been told). I believe that life is to lived and not just to be plodded through. My glass is always at least half full. I'm athletic and play soccer on a regular basis, but I enjoy a lot of activities, including skiing, hiking, golf, dancing, exploring, playing games, scuba diving, and many more things. I love a good adventure - whether it be a new hike or finding a great new restaurant.
I have a few phrases that I try to live my life by:
1. If you have a problem and there is something you can do about, you don't need to worry; if you have a problem and there isn't anything you can do about it, you don't need to worry.
2. Never miss an opportunity to be kind.
3. Say what you're going to do and do what you said.
4. Family is first, with friends being a close second, followed by soccer, then everything else.
and of course (back by popular demand):
5. Do unto others as you'd like done to you.
I am an independent person, I'm happy on my own, but think that the right person to share life with would make my life better.
I'd like to meet someone who is passionate and driven about where she is going, but also loves family. Mostly, I'm hoping to find my new best friend.
Alright, here comes the sales pitch: "If you like what you've seen here today, don't delay, act now, this is a limited time special...." Actually, just email me a random thought about you.

Date men and women from Boulder, United States. I was poked in the behind by a scalpel when my mother was giving c-section birth and the doc made the first cut back in that Swedish hospital. It left a nice mark as my first memory but I survived. Fortunately I got over it and ended up appreciating most scars. Think of them as stamps on the only passport we'll have for life.
I love rolling together with a great conversation and knowing when to just be quiet. I bring and need passion, silly, laughing; but also contemplation, intelligence, and ease. Compassion and kindness is sexy and so are self-aware moments of want. We're both fit and have fun outdoors but we know that the brain really is the sexiest body part.
Oh, and I always hold open doors and guide old ladies across the street on my arm.

Meet a man from Boulder, United States. i truly love the simple things. i.e. the fact that my kiddos adore one another, things done well, effective design, silence in the mountains or plains, inspired musical collaboration, simple food, beautiful dresses worn... what is amazing is that the list of simplicity is long and always new.
went fishing for descriptive words from friends. they came up with intelligent, dry witted, creative, resourceful, unique, nerdy, loyal.
not sure what that tells you about me but i guess it's a place to start. more importantly, according to my daughter, i'm huggable and smoochable. if given a choice between climbing a 14er and making music i will choose the latter and climb another day. was lucky enough to apprentice under a fairly well know woodworker/artist. still doing the same and now teaching others as well. love design, furniture, making/fixing things, love to problem solve. have a truly amazing job doing just that.
how about you? perhaps you have a favorite coffee cup or super comfy blanket, don't mind getting dirty, are a bit nerdy and like zombie movies, a bit tomboyish, maybe you love to sing, are confident, considerate and sincere, can laugh at me and my childish sense of humor, can call me on my absurdities, maybe you are a savant in the kitchen but deplore the clean up,(i'm much better on that end than concocting), hoping you will enjoy my kidlets, enjoy hot springs in remote locations, and can teach me a thing or three.
could keep going but would prefer to meet you.
just looking for the genuine article
send a note not a wink

Meet a soulmate from Boulder, United States. Moved to Boulder after 13 years in SF. I was a lighting designer and live production manager (VJ) for a fairly big band and we toured alot. I have about a year of acupuncture school under my belt, but lost an argument with a car while riding my bicycle. Blew out my knee and the whole event forced me out of school and was the impetus to leave SF and take some time to reassess my situation.
I practice yoga, swim-bike-run, hang out with my Dog, (not the vizla) the other coolio sheperd mix. He's honestly my best friend. I think he may be bhodisattva.
Looking to meet up with cool folks out here in the mtns. I miss my incredible group of friends in the Bay, but am confident that there are more good people out in these parts.
Honestly, I'm looking for a woman that makes my heart feel like its going to jump out of my chest every time I see her. Strong in the heart, mind, soul, and body. Seriously, when the shit goes down, ya better be ready -- because I got my lady's back 24-7. It ain't easy livin. Sharp wit. Laughing is the best medicine.
I would also like this person to be interested in some sort of practice. Be it spiritual or whatever. But something that helps you drive yourself, reset yourself, and give you the strength to move on and deal with life in the good and bad times. It's important. I'm working on mine as well and am willing to share and support all the way.
And then there is the world travel, the painting, the fun, the surfing, the snowboarding, the drinking of the wine and making out, the being a dork, the rock and roll, and the whatever else is necessary to make the best of our short lives.

Date someone special from Colorado, United States. An avalanche on Mont Maudit has killed nine alpinists and injured 14 others.
It is thought that a serac release may have triggered the avalanche, which occurred early this morning. This is France's deadliest climbing disaster in the past decade. Mont Maudit, which means "cursed mountain" in French, was the site of another avalanche in 2008 which killed eight alpinists, and is tragically living up to its name.
Mont Maudix is located in Chamonix, France. The alpinists were on a popular route that leads to the summit of Mont Blanc.

Meet people from Colorado, United States. I am a easy going person... My goal is to make the most out of everyday. Whether its leading an effort at work, or volunteering to work for change... I am generally an optimist. Focusing on the positives in life, but not ignoring the negatives. I have been told I have a unique sense of humor, I see the humor in everyday life more than some...
I am enjoy outdoor adventure, good music, and new experiences. I have many life experiences that have made me the person I am today... But I am still "life's student". I am fortunate that I enjoy my job.... but my job does not define me, although it does have me traveling often. Traveling for work gives me the chance to travel more on leisure (via all the frequent flyer miles). I have been to Europe several times, just got back from Ireland in May. Thinking about Italy in November.
I have always enjoyed camping, hiking, and biking in the Summer. In the winter... Snowshoeing... I am always willing to try something new... I enjoy evenings at home watching a movie and drinking a nice glass of red wine as much as I enjoy going out.... I strive to keep a balance.
I am looking for someone who is active and down to earth. Someone who enjoys the outdoors as well as arts and theater... Someone who needs music in their life. I am attracted to someone who is my equal, someone who is independent and a free-thinker (and makes me think and grow)

Date men and women from Colorado, United States. I am a guy who loves to smile & laugh - life can be challenging enough already! I can be spontaneous at times but also responsible. I can be silly at times. I am a working professional in the Aerospace industry (Sr RF Technician, Boulder, CO) not a geek though, who is divorced, no kids, and enjoy my career tremendously. As a Taurus I'm persistent at keeping myself clean-cut/ well-groomed and presentable although I'm long overdue for some clothes shopping (maybe you'd like to come along?)! I am an artist and musician but my live performance days are in the past. Who wants to lug music gear around after a show at 2 or 3 AM anyway? Sometimes my favorite thing to do after a long day is stay in and cook a gourmet meal, relax, enjoy a glass of wine & watch a good movie or listen to music ('70,s '80s, '90s, ). I do like the mountains whether it's hiking, fishing or just sightseeing. I'm definitely a romantic who's sensual & affectionate- are you? First date- let's go out for some coffee or a game of pool and a beer to see if we click - then take it from there! What do you have in mind?
I am looking for a financially independent woman in who is open, intelligent, romantic, shares some of the same interest, has a great sense of humor (can laugh at herself!), beautiful, sensual, laid back (no drama!), can relax, good conversationalist, sexy of course, who loves to go out for dining, dancing, listening to live music, or enjoys staying in too watching a good movie cuddling and other fun stuff. I can't wait to hear from you!

Meet a man from Colorado, United States. I am hear looking for romance and fun. I have a good kind heart with a nice overall personality. I have many hobbies that I can keep busy doing, paniting, fly tying, upholstery projects, car projects,.
I am looking for someone in there early 30 s or mid thirties or closer to my age that I am attracted to. Someone who does not drink or use drugs would be nice. Someone who would like to have fun doing healthy things together.Someone who is kind to others and themself. Someone who likes simular stuff as I do Fishing is a plus. hit me up and we can see where it goes.

Date single man from Colorado, United States. First, although my pictures above undoubtedly suggest otherwise, I am not your typical Boulder or Colorado guy. Yes, I adore the outdoors, especially the desert and the mountains, love hiking, camping, cycling, and am an avid runner (marathons and ultras), but the resemblance pretty much ends there.
In terms of my education, I have a background in philosophy and literature, and am the dubious owner of graduate degrees in both fields. Although I don't tread in uber-deep waters these days (not much Derrida anymore, for example), I still have strong intellectual leanings and enjoy reading fiction, non-fiction, and poetry and in particular a lot in the fields of human rights, political science, and cultural theory.
I'm a fundraiser by profession, and have worked in fields that reflect my values and ethics like higher education, environmental justice, and human rights. Although I'm in actuality more of an introvert than an extrovert (INFP, to be precise) I love meeting and working with people who are passionate about righting wrongs and making the world a better place.
I recently returned to Colorado after 9 months travelling in Central and South America--mostly Guatemala, Nicaragua, Peru, and Patagonia.
I'm interested in meeting someone fun, intelligent, and happy who enjoys the same things in life I do: exercise, being in nature (whether in the mountains or on the coast), and making life as fulfilling and meaningful as possible in as many different ways as possible.
If any of this resonates with you, feel free to send me a note!

Meet a soulmate from Colorado, United States. I HATE describing myself.
My friends would describe me as the life of the party, a prankster and definitely NOT someone who acts my age. Being an ex-wannabe actor, I love the spotlight and will do anything (not involving insects) on a dare. I am terrified of spiders on that note. I am very loyal and appreciate the finer things in life. I would describe myself as chivalrous and caring. Even though I am the life of the party, I definitely look forward to hanging with friends or the person in my life, in a quiet atmosphere. I am not one who is short on words in person, but like to ask questions and empathize with my partner. I grew up in Colorado and appreciate all that it has to offer, but I also miss the ocean after living in La Jolla, CA for 7 years. I would kill for some great sushi, conversation and then genuine intimacy.
I am looking for a partner in crime and I hope to find someone supportive and not destructive. I don't like bullies or liars. I want to meet someone who will complement my life and allow me to follow my dreams, just as I would do for them. I would love to travel in the states and abroad with this person, figuring out ways to add to my passport stamp collection.
Hit me up. I am a teddy bear and LOVE to cherish the person I am with.
