I am a divorced dad of 3 kids. 11, 8, 7 they are with me half of the time, so my world goes from 0-60, and back again pretty quick.
I work for a large construction company here in Colorado as a manager I travel from one job to another throughout the day some days, or at one site for the day. I have a lot of windshield time some days and a lot of time outside. Makes for a great work arrangement.
Family and good friends are important, I spend free time with family a lot. I grew up in a family of seven kids in southern Idaho, and 4 of us now live here in the Denver area. I enjoy seeing new places, and learning new things, close to home and not so close to home.
I am open minded and find I am able to adjust to surroundings and circumstances easily and quickly, making the best of everything that life has to offer. I am passionate about life and loving every minute I have in it. I am loving and kind, sometimes to a fault as they say. I'm a man that believes in truth, chivalry, and honor. I don't feel the need to be anything other than honest because I'm happy with who I am and what I do, and my word is my bond. If someone matters to me I'll stand by their side through hell and back, but I know I can't fight others' battles for them.
I constanly stoke the fires of passion, for life and living, that burn inside me by savoring all the little things that make life worth living. The sound and smell of the rain, golden leaves dancing on the Autumn wind, a blanket of fresh fallen snow shining crystalline beneath the full moon's light, lush green grass, my daughter's smile's and laughter: these are some of the things that move me and take my breath away. When I wake each morning, I do so with a smile on my face because it is a new beginning, and I wonder what treasures the world will lay before me today.
I hope to find someone that I can connect with and who inspires me, someone who, just by being who she is, feeds the flow of poetry and passion that constanly floods my mind and feeds my soul. I don't need someone to complete me, for I journey through life as a whole person, but having someone to share what I see through these eyes and who will show me her unique vision, would be a gift beyond compare.
