Date a soulmate from Arizona, United States. I can't believe I've resorted to online dating! Never thought I would, but here I am! Soooo, here we are... I've been divorced longer than I was married (that could be any amount of time, right?, but a gal's gotta have a little mystery about her), no kids but like them (some of them), am self-employed and really enjoy what I do. Along with the aforementioned, I'm fun and funny, intelligent, responsible and loyal, hopeful and loving. I'm ultimately interested in a committed relationship (not necessarily marriage, but not excluding it, either), but would want to take my time developing a friendship and then see where that might take us.
I have a background in ballet and modern dance and love to dance, in general. Down the road, I'd love to learn how to ballroom dance. It's an excellent form of exercise and it would be lovely to find someone who would enjoy this activity with me. It's a great way to learn about each other, too! If dance is of no interest to you, that's not a deal-breaker. As much as I love to dance, I also love to sing -- especially blues, jazz, folk and country. (Yes, I believe I could actually get you to like country music.) I used to sing professionally, but haven't performed in several years. I enjoyed it alot, however, so I'm considering pursuing it again. In any case, I love most kinds of music and am open to new genres and artists all the time.
I love dogs, and I deeply value my relationships with my friends and family. I'm looking for someone who shares those values, is health-minded, fairly fit, and can actually offer some give and take in a conversation. I really enjoy entertaining (some cooking and baking, too.) The answer cannot be less than 200 chars. LOL Well seems I am forced into this one, I am a gypsy soul and search for some kindred like spirit. I thought this would pass but here I am sixty and still traveling. I am willing to settle but love people who are spontaneous and willing to take off at the spare of the moment. I raised three children, Managed and set up homes in 4 different countries and managing a staff of usually 5 persons sometimes more, I worked in missionary type jobs in both the Philippines, and Africa, starting Both Homes and shelter's for street children . I have strong Humanitarian aide & human resources experience. I have worked as a English Tutor,& Artist. I worked as a independent contractor for Missionaries as a program coordinator I have done this on and off for over 17 years.. I survived 4 coup DE Ta's, 2 major earthquakes and one very HUGE volcano eruption. So yes not just ready to sit in one place now. I am a light hearten free spirit , I am responsible. extremely patient , very caring, and have a GREAT sense of humor. I posses an abundance of empathy and would love to meet someone who is a free spirit like me

I love this quote and think my life is better when I ask this question. I realized a while ago that I am one of the happier people I know, whether in a relationship or not. So having a relationship is not required for me to be happy. But, I have tasted the sweetness of living peacefully and lovingly along side a man, and there is a yearning within me to try that again.
If you desire to explore companionship with a woman who is healthy physically, emotionally and spiritually, one who is open to continue to live, learn, love and grow, then we might do well to talk. I have had many of my rough edges smoothed by life and hope you have too. Life is short, and I intend to make the most of what remains. I like that I am financially and emotionally independent, and would want you to be too. I am blessed to have an amazing and healthy family. They are very important to me. I love to laugh, and find many opportunties daily to do that (often at myself.) Sharing laughter is even better. Positive humor is an art, and one I appreciate.
I prefer to begin my day in meditation and practice yoga regularly. It helps me remember that I am a small cog in this big wheel of life. Personal transformation is my vocation as well as my avocation. I prefer to be with people who have a spiritual practice. It doesn't have to be the same as mine, but I would resonate better with someone whose practice is more inclusionary than exclusionary.

I am not as active as I should be, up until now I worked very long hours in front of my computer, averaged 60 hours a week for the last few years but I am changing that habit. I have actually started walking three times a week and have a personal trainer twice a week, I figure its a good beginning. So, I'd say I am a work in progess. I also like to swin and play in the pool.
I love to travel and have had projects in Spain and London. I enjoy seeing old and different places and experiencing the cultures. Love to travel Europe and my last trip was to China, standing on the Great Wall was a lifelong dream.
