ATTITUDE (A great poem!)
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company ...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is that we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...We cannot change the fact that people will react in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play upon the one string we have, and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our attitudes.

I am a member of the Phoenix Blues Society and love to go out and get my blues fix once and awhile. I love to travel and did so, for 22 years being a travel consultant by trade. After 9/11, I decided to retire from the travel industry and work at jobs that coincided with the my childrens school hours, hence, I am now working at an Elementary school. I volunteer teach Art Masterpiece classes to Elementary School kids. I have a knack for turning a negative situation into a positive one. I live my life to the fullest every day with the thought that it might be my last. And I thank God every day that I am able to kiss my children that night. I am a very "lay it on the table" lady, no time for games and I cannot read your mind. I am a communication nut, I like to bring out the best in people and perform my witty humor. I am an affectionate, giving person and tend to show my appreciation often. I love to cook and invite friends over for my yummy pumpkin bread and a nice cup of java. I love to watch tennis and baseball. I also love swimming and skiing. . I have to say this talking about yourself part is probably harder than actually meeting for the first time LOL!!. I think I'll keep it brief for now.
