I am an engineer by schooling but in my spare time I am a free energy researcher. I am into working out and did some competitive Olympic weightlifting competitions. I am an avid rock climber and have all the gear so if you are interested learning to climb let me know. I have hiked many of the 14ers but prefer ones with some technical challenge but would never pass up a day in the mountains. In the winter I ski and ice climb. I also do easier activities like snow shoe so I can do something with my dad. I played football and baseball in high school and still enjoy watching both. I have tried most activities to see if I enjoyed them, plus I am always up for something new.
I can be analytical because I subscribe to the philosophy of independent investigation of truth. This has led me to discover so many amazing things I never would havdo one across. I have gotten into meditation, gardening, juicing, and some scientific theories that make so much more sense then the crap we are taught in school. I went on a vegan diet for a year to see if I could do it and low and behold I could. I enjoy trivia and problem solving. I guess I do require a fair amount of technical or mental challenges to keep my interest.
I enjoy traveling and get travel quite frequently for work. In the last two years I have visited 16 countries. I would very much like to travel with somebody as there are opportunities to take someone along.
I enjoy spending time with my family and make sure I visit my grandma in the nursing home once a week.

I bought into the lifestyle...I now go hiking (I climbed Pikes Peak last year), snowboarding, mountain biking and running. It's important to me to stay healthy...I can't live without exercising and I try to eat as healthy as possible...although my sweet tooth makes that challenging at times :)!
I'm very focused on my career but I would like to make more time for my social life. Life is not all about work afterall, right?

Haha, I'm 32, you would think I'd learn already. I'm a busy person so it can be difficult to actually meet someone nice. The qualities I like in a woman are honesty and loyalty. Lack of trust will kill a relationship, that much I have learned. The things that bother other guys really don't bug me, like kids. I think its cool if you're a mom because if people didn't reproduce it would be the end of the human race, so thank you. A little extra weight doesn't bother me either as long as you're comfortable, healthy and happy. I love dark complected women with big dark eyes, just my preference. What I'd like to find is someone who matches what I just described and who wants to take the time to get to really know me. Taking it Slow is good if it is going to last.

Call me a traditionalist, but I still believe that a man should open doors and tip his hat to the ladies. It's a lost art, but when employed, it shows that a man truly respects a woman, and that I do.
Not one to make fast friends with my couch and the TV remote, I much prefer to be in the heart of the great outdoors: camping, hunting, fishing…you name it. The perfect woman for me would be comfortable just letting her hair down and not mind getting a bit of dirt under her nails. Of course, when the time calls for it, she sure does look good all dolled up for a night out on the town!
In matters of the heart, my areas of expertise include but are not limited to honesty, loyalty, faithfulness, and devotion. Just as I would give the shirt of my back to a friend in need, I would fully be there for my partner, championing her through the good times and supporting her through the challenging times. While I might seem shy and reserved initially, once I warm up to you, prepare to be amazed! Likewise, I am not one to quickly judge someone by first impressions. I like to take my time to get to know someone. More often than not, when you allow yourself to get to know someone you thought you might not like at first, you are soon pleasantly surprised. There is always something good you can find in another; you just have to know where to look.
What I may first notice in a woman are her sincere, expressive, and loving eyes, but if that outer dynamic is not authentically embraced by a warm, spirited, and engaging personality, those intriguing good looks tend to suffer a limited shelf life, and this guy definitely requires depth and substance in a woman.

I have a crazy stressfull job as VP of Administration for a local constuction company; and between that and my babies, there are only a few nights a week I have to myself. I like to take advantage of the nights I do have, and enjoy going out and doing whatever (wether it's a cigar bar, a dive bar, dinner, movie, whatever... I like to get out of the house on the nights I have off). I enjoy music, golf, softball, boxing, football, photography (as art-especially of my kids), movies, and hanging out with friends.

Sometimes I choose to be more an observer of life, other times I am a very active participant...but no matter what, I am very passionate about life in general - I am constantly in search of the beauty that exists in this world. For me, I find it most often when I am in nature - whether in the mountains, in the woods, or near water. Helps me feel connected to life, to the earth and is what fills me with spirit. I am very interested in music as I play guitar and am in love with the sounds of violin and the cello, which I am actually trying to learn!
