The following things are also true: I occasionally make my own wine. As I am no expert at this and worry for the safety of friends, I considerately googled "Can homemade wine kill you?" Turns out it can, but only if it's laced with narcotics. I guess I'm in the clear. I once directed a Survivor audition video for my brother. But if you think you're going to see that, you're a crazy person. However, I feel this gives me the necessary clout to criticize other directors. (Michael Bay, I'm looking at you!)
I also believe strongly in good communication. After my brother got into high school basketball coaching, he came home one day and told me that another coach had a heart attack and died on the court. A couple of months later, I met the guy at a golf tournament. Turns out, the guy had been revived by the paramedics, but my brother neglected to mention that. The moral of the story is don't leave out the part where a dead guy comes back to life! It makes for awkward introductions....
I like to stay active. I get restless if i don't do anything for a long time. But I'm happy to take in a movie and a beer when that's over. Love to play softball, football, and basketball in order to stay busy. I'm very competitive, but I have no problem losing to someone better than me and I'd love to meet a girl who can beat me. Not physically. Obviously.
Summer in Colorado is my favorite time of year. I like to get out and golf, play softball, and make it into the mountains camping. Rockies games and rooftop bars are a great release for weekend nights. I'm also a big fan of having people over for a BBQ to celebrate a holiday or watch college football. Also, I enjoy making up holidays.
I am generally satisfied with my life. I stay busy, travel a decent amount for work, and weekends usually fly by with friends. I can't help but realize I'm missing something by doing it on my own.
I have been to 48 out of the 50 states. Never been to Delaware or West Virginia. I'm sure they're wonderful. I've been to Italy on a family vacation but feel I could go back to Rome and spend a year there and never get tired of seeing the ancient sites. I make it to Vegas once a year, but we keep trying to increase that. I spend a lot of time in Los Angeles for work, but I am happy to leave the traffic behind. But the weather is usually great and the seafood is something you don't get in Denver. Would love to see England/Ireland/Scotland and Australia at some point.

I am a person who is very thankful for the great relationships with family and friends and also very greatful for major positive changes I've had in my life in the last 2 years. I am a much happier and healthier person now compared to 2 years ago thanks to exercise, quitting smoking, quitting drinking and hiking. In the last 2 years I've hiked 14ers, 13ers, am consistently exercising 3 to 4 times per week and enjoy traveling around Colorado and experiencing our great mountain towns like Telluride, Aspen, Summit County, Steamboat, Crested Butte, the san juan mountain range and love enjoying the raw beauty that Colorado has. Exercise is a huge part of my life to try and maintain as healthy lifestyle as I can and it is something I definitely enjoy. Whether I'm just hitting the weights and doing circuits of cardio, upper and lower body or doing personal training, pilates, zumba and kinesis it is something that always keeps my spirits high. In general I am a very positive guy. Of course, I've had my moments where stress may get the better of me, but they're really few and far between and I believe going through life with a positive attitude is much better than complaining about every small thing that doesn't go your way.
Photography is a huge hobby of mine and I love capturing the images and seeing the positive reactions from friend's and family when they see them. Reaching the summit of a 14er is one of the greatest feelings because of the challenges you have to overcome to get their (both physical and mental) and hopefully someday I'll be able to say that I've done them all. I haven't been to that many concerts, but when I have gone I've always had a good time at them and definitely think they're a great way to go out and have fun. Other major interest are sports, cooking, travel, skiing and eating out. I do enjoy watching sports on TV, but definitely enjoy going to games more and definitely go to my fair share of nuggets and broncos games. Additionally, when I'm at home, yes I will watch espn sometime, but really love the foodnetwork and picking up tips on how to be creative and flavorful with food combinations, while also trying to maintain that balance of trying to be healthy.
International travel is something I really enjoy as well. I lived in Europe for 1 year between 2001 and 2002 while doing an internship in Estonia after my junior year of college and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I met so many great friends that I want to go back and visit soon and also have major aspirations of visiting places like Fiji, New Zealand, Peru, Chile, Switzerland, Italy, Malta and Hawaii to name a few. I'm looking for someone who has aspirations like these and knows what they want out of life, but also someone that has different personality characteristics to keep things fun and conversation meaningful.
