Although I work an obscene amout of hours, I continue to try and improve myself as a man. I am sure that has different meanings to different people. I believe in family, friends, faith and fun. I have great friends and great family. I am extremely active but crave at the thought of mid afternoon naps. I do not get out that much, and when I do I live life to the fullest. The whole bar scene is old and I have chose not to date because I find myself being drawn to the same kind of women over and over. Plus I am not a guy who plays games. I believe successful relationships are based on trust and communication. I like women who are straight forward, athletic and easy going..I am a sucker for peanut butter, good conversation, pillow fights, sarcasm and after about two drinks you could pretty much get me to do as you please. I also enjoy mid afternoon naps and like a total loser I have an obsession with cleaning the house. I don't care. I love football, hockey, politics(what a joke), fishing and other outdoor activities. I work in the oil and gas industry. I am sure that profession sounds exciting! I work 7 days on 7 days off. Its actually pretty nice because I have a week to do as I please. I grew up in a nice section of the Bronx. I started commuting to school in Manhattan on the subway by myself when I was 11, so I learned how to look out for myself and have been pretty independent since then. I first moved out of New York to Boston when I was 23 and haven't looked back (although I like to visit). I moved here to Denver about 3 and a half years ago and I love the laidback vibe and how there's so many outdoor activities within reach.
Like most people here, I enjoy the mountains and just like to be active, skiing, hiking and, biking. I really like exploring Denver too, I love running in Wash Park, hanging out at rooftop bars during the summer or just doing any sort of group activity with friends...ski-ball, kick-ball, bowling...I guess anything is fun that involves balls.
I love to travel (everyone says it, I really mean it). Overall I haven't traveled to much of the world but I plan on correcting that over the next few years. At least one international trip a year is now a must for me. I just got back from a wedding in Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. Climbing 7 of the 21 waterfalls and sliding down them was some of the best times I've ever had.
I went to Brazil last year and had the time of my life. I had never seen such beautiful beaches as I did on Morro de Sao Paulo. I'm not even much of a beach person, but I saw the bluest water I'd ever seen and the hills sticking out of the ground looked like jungles...it makes we want to find a more beautiful beach if there is one.
Going to the Amazon for 5 days was one of the best experiences of my life. My tour guide had grown up in an Amazon tribe and knew how to find all the craziest animals. When we arrived he had me put my our arm up against this tree to have hundreds of ants crawl on it, then he had me smush the ants. He said it would keep bugs away, it actually worked! While I was there I got to see pink dolphins, anacondas, slugs and toucans.
What I'm looking for is pretty broad but I've definitely learned to identify it better over the past few years. Someone with a good sense of humor who is laid back is a must. Other than that, I seem to like women who are not afraid to have goals and go after what they want. I also really like women that introduce me to new things, challenge me and cause me to look at things differently.

I like to spend my free time under the hood of one of my cars or building something, I like working on my house. Im very family oriented and do my best to take care of all my family and friends. I cant start my day with out a cup of coffee, and usually end each day with a bottle of beer. Im a bit of a work aholic and travel often with work. I suppose I have gotten to the point in my life where I am successful with my career, my finances, my family....... you know all the easy things...... but still looking for someone to fill in the rest of the gaps.
